Big spacious room with a mix of western bed and another area of ryokan style tatami mats. Love the coffee and breakfast. There is an onsen which guests could reserve for an hour.

We wish we could've stayed longer than one night. The futons in the traditional Japanese room were more comfortable than any bed we had in a hotel. The cafe was delicious; I'd recommend trying the matcha and chai lattes. The service was impeccable, and we are grateful that our host helped us schedule our return to Kyoto. Thank you! We sincerely hope to be back soon :)

Our room was comfortable and had a view of Mt. Fuji. The host was nice and helpful. We enjoyed breakfasts at the cafe on the main floor during our stay.

I was able to stay comfortably and with peace of mind. The baths require a reservation, but that's not an inconvenience. The breakfast coffee made by the owner was delicious. I was very satisfied to be able to sit in a seat with a view of Mt. Fuji in the morning. The owner was friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to stay again.

It was the end of October, the leaves were starting to turn red, and having breakfast on the terrace couldn't have been more pleasant! The cafe au lait that Master served for breakfast was just as delicious as rumored... It was such a luxurious time that I didn't want to leave for a while.
Although the building is a little dated, it is well-maintained and the baths are very comfortable and clean. We had such a happy time that we will want to visit Lake Yamanaka again next time we visit!
