The Day Post General Glamping Village Yamanakako

The staff kindly and thoroughly explained the best spots to view Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great so we couldn't see it clearly, but it's a facility I'd love to use again when I come back for a second try!

Four friends and I stayed with the room-only plan. The room was clean, and the bed design was very cute, which put us in a good mood. It was quite hot on the day of our stay, but the air conditioning was reliable and there were plenty of outlets, so we were able to stay comfortably with four people. The outdoor lights were on all night, creating a beautiful and ambiance. Closing the curtains blocked out the light, so we weren't too dazzled and couldn't sleep, making it a comfortable stay. The lights also made going to the bathroom at night safe and secure. The staff were also very kind and attentive, and we appreciated their attentive service. The parking lot was a little hard to find, but once you find the sign, it's no problem. There was also a freezer inside, so we felt safe bringing frozen foods. We also enjoyed a BBQ that day. A stove and multi-griddle can be rented for about 2,000 yen, and knife and cutting board sets, detergent and sponge sets, etc. can also be rented for around 100-200 yen, so there were no major inconveniences. What's more, I was very grateful that oil and yakiniku sauce were included in the BBQ set, allowing me to enjoy the experience lightly. It would be safer to bring small consumable items (such as kitchen paper) with you. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and a wonderful facility where you could feel like you were in an extraordinary environment surrounded by nature. I would especially recommend it for girls' trips or group trips.

Due to a tsunami warning, we had booked a hotel on the Pacific coast, but had to cancel at the last minute, so we used this hotel, which was available for same-day bookings. Even though we booked on the day, they were very kind and prepared barbecue equipment and lent us a frying pan. The location is also right in front of Lake Yamanaka, so we were able to stay cool even in the middle of summer.

The service was very polite and helpful from the check-in onwards! They even set up a barbecue grill and came to collect it! They also lent us blankets because it was cold, so we were able to stay very comfortably!

Good service But there should be more female staff. I had a power outage and a male staff member was about to enter the women's shower room.
