Hotel Tsubakino Reviews

This is a traditional onsen hotel with an antique charm. The staff provided excellent service, being very polite and even seeing us off at the door when we left. We ordered their dinner, which was exquisite and delicious. I highly recommend that guests staying here book dinner.

5 stars no question. Location is perfect for us and the room was nice and big. The public bath is well maintained and everywhere was spotless. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. Strongly recommend.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our trip and look forward to staying again next time.

The hotel was great and exceeded our expectation in all ways. the parking was large and easy to access. The facilities were great especially the onsen on level 5, the view of teh onsen out to the mountains was fantastic. The reception and staff in the hotel were super courteous and smiley and friendly. The breakfast was beyond expectation , the hotel staff will meet you at the lobby and guide you to your seats/table where all the food has been prepared and laid out. the food was great and super filling, with appetizer, miso soup, side dishes, main, rice, fruits, green tea/coffee and also dessert in the form of yoghurt. Aside form that, for the Western breakfast, they set up a toastbox at the table for you to toast your basket of bread assortment. Other worthy aspect are the 8-10pm Sake hours, where you are given tokens to sample the range of sake and wine from their coin-operated dispenser, along with free snacks. When they make up the room daily, they will also leave sample of snacks on the table daily. Overall it was a great stay and i will definately recommend this hotel to others/my friends.

Hotel staff is friendly, breakfast is good . Some more got free sake and wine .. drink bar for guest. Morning got free coffee. The onsen is good too.

Little gem of a location and hotel. Close to see the monkeys of Yamanochi. We had a room with bed, breakfast and evening meal, which was so fresh and tasted amazing. The breakfast made sure we were set up for the day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

We had a great stay at Hotel Tsubakino! Very friendly and helpful staff (using Google translate!), fantastic set dinner and breakfast, great location close to station for easy access to bus for Snow Monkey forest. Would highly recommend

The location of the hotel is close to Yudanaka Station,only 4-minute walk.The twin room is spacious and comfortable,but the area near the window is slightly cold.The onsen is clean and spacious.View woman outdoor onsen ia great,can clearly see the mountains.The kaiseki dinner was very deicious.We are very impressed with Tsubakino Hotel.

Booked this hotel for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was AMAZING! Welcome drink on arrival, and for extra we booked the option of the private onsen. Brilliant experience, highly recommend!

Superb services. All staff are very friendly. This roykan has real jap traditional courses. The town itself can close to nothing with one or two expensive restaurants target foreigners. But you come here just for onsen and relax. Onsen itself ok but not the great.

The hotel's location was good, just walking distance to Yudanaka Station. We hadn't booked dinner, and to our surprise, the restaurant options nearby were very limited in the evening. The large public hot spring bath offered beautiful views of the distant mountains. The outdoor bath temperature was just right.

Our journey began at this hotel, and now that we're done, we can say it's one of the best. The service and attention to detail are top-notch, the renovations are spotless, and the cuisine is excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the onsen.

Very close to the station, convenient to the Wild Monkey Park, breakfast has a sense of ceremony, the room layout is reasonable and relatively large, hot spring bath is very good, it is a recommended hotel, very good
