MUYE Mountain Villa

This is genuinely the most pleasant surprise I've had among all the places I've stayed in Yangshuo. It's right next to 'Impression Sanjie Liu'. The overall style is Wabi-sabi, and while the exteriors might look similar to others, the quality inside is top-notch. The decor, furnishings, and amenities are all excellent, making for a very comfortable sleep. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Facilities: The facilities and equipment are very new and comprehensive. They have everything: a gym, laundry room, kids' area, restaurant, terrace, swimming pool, tea room, and even a mahjong room. Environment: The back offers a mountain and wilderness view, while the front showcases the typical Yangshuo karst landscapes, with those iconic peaks. In terms of scenery, most B&Bs in Yangshuo are quite similar, but the actual stay experience can vary significantly. Among all the places I've stayed in Yangshuo at a similar price point, this one's quality is top-tier.

The hotel's decor is quite unique, and it's very new, clean, and hygienic. The front desk service was also excellent! They upgraded us to a family room for free. The hotel offers complimentary coffee, desserts, and snacks all day, so even staying in the hotel for a full day is very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is great, nestled against a mountain with a wide-open view. They offer electric scooter rentals, which makes getting to attractions very convenient. If you're driving, there's also parking available. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it for your travels.

I was so satisfied with this stay that I immediately decided to extend it for another night! The room was clean and comfortable, the environment was quiet and pleasant. It was also a great spot for photos. The hotel butler's service was attentive and thoughtful. Everything was just perfect. I really didn't want to change places, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

The biggest surprise during my trip to Yangshuo was this wooden-themed guesthouse nestled against the mountains, which instantly slowed down my travel pace. As soon as I walked in, I was enveloped by a refreshing woody aroma, mixed with a subtle fruity scent – so gentle and healing, even the air felt relaxing. The antique items in the common areas, the linen and cotton fabrics, and the rockery and flowing water outside the window brought the tranquility of the mountain forest indoors. Sitting here with a cup of tea, time itself seemed to slow down. As someone who appreciates details, I was thrilled with the room. The double vanity in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch, and the balcony facing the back mountain meant almost no mosquitoes. Drifting off to sleep at night with the woody scent was so comfortable, I didn't want to leave. The lobby also offers free coffee and desserts, perfect for spending a lazy afternoon. No need to rush through an itinerary, no need to tick off tourist spots – just pure enjoyment of this gentle time coexisting with nature. For friends coming to Yangshuo who want to slow down, this place is definitely worth checking out! ✨

🏨 Muyeshan Villa Hotel (Yangshuo Yulong River Ecological Park Guilin Eternal Love Store) Unbeatable mountain views! Even with construction outside, it didn't bother us at all; the mountains were right there when we opened the door. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were wonderful. It's super convenient for getting to West Street and other attractions. Highly recommended!

Awful! Absolutely terrible! Beyond bad! The moment I stepped into the room, it reeked of formaldehyde. The trash can was foot-pedal operated – how am I supposed to dispose of toilet paper after wiping? Do I have to twist my body around and step on it? There were over a dozen mosquitoes in the room. I lit three mosquito coils and still spent over half an hour swatting them before bed. The fridge was empty. I didn't expect free drinks, but not even a single bottle of cold mineral water in this heat? The Wi-Fi was also incredibly slow. The sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases were dirty, rough, and felt cheap. My thighs broke out in a terrible rash in the middle of the night, itching like crazy. I had to put on pajama bottoms just to get some sleep. Breakfast only starts at 8:00 AM, so anyone planning to leave by 7:00 AM misses out. Other hotels usually start breakfast at 7:00 AM. The breakfast itself was incredibly unhygienic! There were flying insects and flies all over the food! And that bizarre faucet – the water was scalding hot, like it was meant to de-hair a pig, it practically seared my skin! Showering, washing my face, washing my hands, my skin got burnt. There was no way to adjust it to cold water. The water only returned to normal in the morning. And the toilet seat – you sit on it and it just slams down, pressing against your back. I'm speechless! Also, check-out is strictly at 12:00 PM; exceeding by even one hour incurs a 50 penalty, while other hotels usually allow late check-out until 2:00 PM. The room was incredibly basic, nothing like the pictures advertised. There's construction across the street, so no view either. Seriously, avoid this place! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, no exceptions! I was fuming all night and didn't get any sleep.

For those traveling by car, the location is very convenient as you don't have to navigate through the busy city center. Songcheng Romance Park is right across the street, and there's a whole street of restaurants. The hotel has a kids' play area, which looks exactly like the pictures. The front desk staff were very friendly, and they even offer car rental services. Overall, I was very satisfied. The room had some great touches like a portable makeup mirror, a heated towel rack, and a hairdryer – excellent attention to detail! The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but the taste was good. However, there were some design flaws: the bathroom faucet sprayed water everywhere when in use, and the smart toilet wasn't very smart, making it quite useless. In the shower, only the rain shower mode worked; in our suite, neither of the two showers had a functioning handheld shower mode. I hope they can improve these aspects. If you're traveling during the off-season, it offers great value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Came with a few friends and booked 5 rooms directly. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel environment is very quiet, and the rooms are spotless. Each room comes with a balcony and a bathtub, and you can even enjoy the night view of the 'Impression Lijiang' scenic area directly from your room, which offers a fantastic view. The staff are incredibly kind and always available to assist with anything you need; their service is very thoughtful.
