YangShuo Backpacker Hostel ( West Street Branch)

The owner is very handsome and often organizes activities. There are many foreigners, and he even took us hiking.

I chose this hostel for my solo trip, and my overall experience exceeded expectations – I'd give everything a perfect score! The location is excellent, very close to West Street, just a few minutes' walk away. It was super convenient to get back after exploring the street at night. It’s quiet despite being central, so I wasn't overly bothered by street noise. The six-bed dorm was clean and tidy, with fresh linens provided for each guest. The common areas were very well-maintained, and the bathrooms/wash areas were clean with no unpleasant odors. The facilities are comprehensive; the communal lounge is a great spot to relax and chat with other backpackers, making it ideal for solo travelers. The staff were warm and friendly, patiently answering any questions I had. Check-in and check-out were simple and efficient. The room was well-ventilated, and each bed had a locker, ensuring good security. It offers great value for money, perfect for budget backpackers. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Yangshuo and highly recommend it to other solo travelers!

It was okay for a one-night stay, but the water pressure was a bit low for some reason. Plus, I found a huge cockroach (about an inch long) in the morning. Personally, I couldn't stand it, so I packed my bags and got out of there.

Pretty good, not far from West Street. It was off-season so there weren't many guests. It's on the 5th floor, so you have to walk up. 🙂

It was pretty good, very quiet for sleeping at night, and very close to West Street. 👍👍👍
