Yitel (Yangzhou Qionghua Building, Ancient Canal, Dongguan Street)

The hotel's service even surpassed five-star standards! From the two security guards to all the staff members, everyone made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. They were always greeting guests warmly and quick to lend a hand with anything. I later understood why – it's because they have a fantastic boss! We stayed for 3 nights in the 'Little Yellow Duck' room, and my child was absolutely thrilled. The lobby features excellent children's facilities like a slide and building blocks, and the king bed in our room even had guard rails installed. The only slight drawback was that the floor seemed a bit dirty; my child's anti-slip socks were constantly turning black.

The service was incredibly warm and attentive, truly excellent! The location is also very convenient, offering free parking. It's just an 8-minute walk to He Garden. Popular local eateries like Da Mao Pai Dang and Sheng Dong are also close by. Just across the bridge are Shizilou (Lion Grove Restaurant) and the Huaiyang Cuisine Museum. Attractions in Yangzhou are quite centrally located. The ancient canal ferry terminal is a 30-minute walk away. You can walk straight to He Garden, then explore Pishi Street and Dongguan Street, and finally reach the ancient ferry terminal for a river cruise. It's perfect for an evening stroll along the ancient canal to walk off dinner before heading back to the hotel!

The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, featuring a unique and stylish decor. The suites are perfectly suited for families traveling. The rooms are exceptionally clean, with housekeeping ensuring prompt and thorough cleaning. The hotel boasts various business and conference facilities, along with a dedicated play area for children. Service is excellent; staff are friendly and attentive, providing complimentary bottled water and other beverages.

The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even provided a local souvenir, a building block toy. The breakfast was incredibly generous and varied. The garden teahouse right next door was super convenient for meals, and their steamed buns were delicious.

We visited Yangzhou for the weekend with our children. This hotel came highly recommended by a friend, and it truly surpassed her expectations – what a fantastic stay! Its location is incredibly convenient; Pi Shi Street is within walking distance, and Slender West Lake is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The room amenities are very thoughtful, including a mini-fridge and a disinfection cabinet, plus they provided two key cards. Breakfast was also plentiful. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and snacks, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance. Many thanks to the staff for their enthusiastic welcome. We look forward to staying here again!
