5/5 Stars — Exceptional Hospitality and Modern Comfort in Yangzhou!
I recently completed a 2-night stay (Sept 27–29, 2026) at the Orange Crystal Hotel (Wenchang Square Dongguan Street), and it easily ranks as one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!
From the moment I arrived, the hotel impressed me with its modern, pristine appearance. The check-in was seamless, and a wonderful female assistant personally escorted me to my room, ensuring everything was perfect. She walked me through their free laundry facilities, giving clear instructions on how to use their smart washers and dryers.
The room itself was spectacular—spacious, bright, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with advanced AI features, including smart voice controls for the lighting/blinds and intelligent climate control. The hotel also provides excellent curated guides for Yangzhou’s local sightseeing and must-try foods. The location is excellent which is centralised in the sightseeing area.
What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. On my final day, it was raining heavily. A fantastic male staff member, Xiao Yang (小杨), went out of his way to help load my luggage into the taxi. When I tried to tip him for his kindness, he politely declined, saying it was simply his pleasure to assist. To top it off, the team sent me away with a beautiful farewell gift featuring traditional Yangzhou paper-cutting art and local signature sweets.
The service and room quality here are absolutely exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting beautiful Yangzhou—I will definitely be back! Thank you to the amazing team!
