Xiang Zhang Shu Hotel

Facilities: The amenities didn't quite meet a 4-star hotel standard. Hygiene: Excellent. Ambiance: Beautiful. Service: Superb. However, the breakfast didn't live up to 4-star expectations. In the evenings, it felt like two extremes – the living room was freezing, while the bedroom was sweltering. The service was fantastic though. The hotel should really improve its breakfast to a 4-star standard. Despite the facilities not meeting 4-star standards, they offer free afternoon tea, and the butler service provided by the lady was absolutely amazing.

The accommodation is quiet and peaceful, and not far from the scenic spots. The service is thoughtful and enthusiastic. They provide free coffee, a small fruit platter, cookies, facial towels, etc. It's very comfortable! I'll choose this inn again next time~

The environment is great and the room is clean, but most importantly, the service is excellent. The front desk staff helped me with my luggage and even brought me fruit. The next morning, they asked if I wanted coffee and milk delivered to my room, and they even gave me a small gift when I checked out! They also provided facial cleanser, makeup remover, and laundry detergent in the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. I was able to wash my undergarments the same night. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel that provided laundry detergent, despite staying at so many. Five-star rating all around!

The staff contacted us a day in advance and sent the location details. The hotel was very comfortable, and the front desk ladies were all incredibly patient and friendly, even recommending nearby attractions. The hotel is very close to Pishi Street and Heyuan Garden. There are also open parks next to and opposite the hotel, perfect for a leisurely stroll and some fresh air, which was lovely. Staying at Guiyin with my elders and two kids was truly comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and there were fresh flowers in the room. The large terrace offers great views and a place to dry clothes, which was a nice touch. They also brought complimentary snacks and fruit every day. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located right by the canal, which has scenic belts and parks on both sides (I noticed the hotel was on the boat tour route when I took a cruise at night). If you're not in a rush, it's lovely to take a stroll along the riverside. From the hotel, cross a bridge and walk straight ahead to He Garden, then further on to Pishi Street. Beyond Pishi Street are the Dongguan Ferry Terminal and Dongguan Street. In short, it's incredibly convenient to reach all these attractions on foot. Though it's called a hotel, it feels more like a B&B. It's a charming three-story building, very clean and well-maintained. The owner has excellent taste and puts a lot of thought into everything. Both the owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, always greeting guests and proactively asking if anything is needed, without being overbearing. Complimentary tea, drinks, and fruit are provided, all of high quality and in ample supply. The service is truly impeccable. The room was meticulously cleaned, and all the bathroom amenities were quite high-end. They even thoughtfully provided a complimentary set of brand-name facial wash, skincare products, and body lotion. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper. It’s been a long time since I stayed in such a comfortable and reassuring place; it truly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yangzhou. My stay at the Camphor Tree Hotel exceeded all expectations! Located right by the canal, it truly captures the essence of the Jiangnan region. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly attentive. Every day, they'd bring fresh, sweet fruit, and there was always rich milk and freshly ground coffee available – it's those thoughtful touches that really made the experience special. Plus, it's really close to all the attractions, making sightseeing a breeze. Definitely worth staying here!
