Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou

Although the hotel was built in 2012 and renovated in 2018, the environment is still excellent. Due to good maintenance, the facilities and equipment are relatively new. The carpets and marble are very clean, and the housekeeping is thorough. The hotel doorman service is attentive and friendly to guests. The front desk staff provided excellent service and even upgraded our room. The day before we left Shanghai, customer service specifically called to ask if we had any special requests for our room and which train we were taking to Yangzhou, so they could arrange an early check-in for us if possible. When we checked out, they even gave us a local Yangzhou souvenir. The hotel's Chinese restaurant offers unique dishes that taste great, and the prices are quite reasonable. The waitstaff are polite and diligent. The breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western pastries, and the ingredients are fresh. The executive lounge is open for nearly 20 hours a day, providing guests with snacks, drinks, light meals, a place to relax and chat, and convenient small bites. All in all, our group of six was very satisfied with our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou, and we believe it offers excellent value for money.

Our stay at Shangri-La Yangzhou was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's lake view garden really sets a wonderful atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, including local Yangzhou specialties like noodles and wontons, which were excellent. A special thank you to Emma, who anticipated our needs, was attentive and efficient, and patiently helped us with any questions we had. She was so warm and kind. All the other hotel staff provided meticulous and thoughtful service as well. Our entire experience was superb, definitely a five-star rating! We'll be back!

A truly delightful stay! Shangri-La lives up to its reputation; the five-star standard is definitely there. The facilities aren't old at all, and a special shout-out to the amazing water pressure in the shower 😂. A big thank you to every staff member at Shangri-La! Xiao Chen at the lobby front desk was incredibly patient and thorough, with excellent communication skills. The room service attendant who delivered food and the housekeeping auntie all radiated the warmth and hospitality of Yangzhou. It's been over a decade since I last visited Yangzhou, and while I didn't get a chance to explore this time, my stay at Shangri-La made me incredibly happy 🥳.

They proactively upgraded us to a lake-view room, which was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, and the Huaiyang cuisine at Shang Palace was authentic and delicious!

Yangzhou Shangri-La's Chinese restaurant, Shang Palace, is reportedly the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Yangzhou. Everything from the service to the food and the ambiance is exceptional. Plus, with the hotel offering various dining packages, it's truly great value for money.

Stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel in Yangzhou! The hotel boasts an excellent location directly opposite Mingyue Lake, with convenient transportation. The service was impeccable. I enjoyed dim sum for breakfast and dinner at the Shang Palace. It truly lives up to its five-star standard. While waiting for the airport shuttle upon check-out, I even grabbed a coffee for just 18 yuan with a group deal!

This is an older 5-star hotel in western Yangzhou, located 2.9 kilometers from Yangzhou Station by car, but quite a distance—over ten kilometers—from Yangzhou East Station. It's right next to Mingyue Lake, perfect for a run. The hotel has some age, especially noticeable in the wooden furniture showing wear, and the TV isn't very large. However, the service is excellent, and the dining is a highlight, particularly the delicious breakfast and morning tea. The city view rooms also overlook the stadium, so if there's a Chinese Super League match, you get a free show!
