Mercure Hotel (Yangzhou Dongguan Street)

From the parking attendants to the front desk, from the room service staff to the restaurant team, and even the surrounding environment – this hotel truly embodies the warmth and hospitality of Yangzhou. It's my go-to hotel whenever I visit Yangzhou, hands down.

Now I understand why this hotel's reviews were so overwhelmingly positive! After so many years in operation, it truly lives up to its consistent 4.8 high rating and price. Yangzhou is a wonderful city, and this hotel, located right next to Dongguan Ancient Ferry and Dongguan Street, serves as a fantastic introduction for first-time visitors – it really makes a statement for the city. The service is excellent! The front desk was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, polite, and even warm. I sprained my ankle, and they had ice packs and Yunnan Baiyao (a traditional Chinese medicine) readily available. Even the cleaning staff and the uncle directing cars at the entrance exuded enthusiastic smiles and professionalism.

Mercure Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Dongguan Ferry crossing, just across the street. It's also right by Dongguan Street, making dining and sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel service is fantastic; the lobby offers complimentary drinks and children's play facilities. The front desk staff are very welcoming, and they even provided fruit and a souvenir. While the breakfast area was a bit crowded, the food selection was plentiful – truly superb!

Excellent location, and the staff are well-trained – everyone greets you. The front desk proactively upgraded my room during check-in. The facilities are a bit old, and breakfast is just average, though they do make fresh wontons. The small fish pond is a nice touch.

The hotel staff were very friendly and paid attention to details. I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's right downstairs from Dongguan Street, which is great for an evening stroll, and it's also very close to other nearby attractions.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the entrance of Dongguan Street, making it super convenient for dining and sightseeing. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The front desk attendant saw I was traveling with an older child and upgraded our room, which made our stay much more comfortable. She also gave us some travel tips, so we didn't have to bother planning anything ourselves – it was really great. The hotel even provided complimentary fruit upon arrival and late-night dessert snacks, which was a thoughtful touch.

My experience at the Mercure Yangzhou Dongguan Street exceeded expectations! The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, proactively upgrading my room to a spacious and elegant one. I was even more pleasantly surprised by the lovely welcome gift – so many thoughtful details! The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to explore Dongguan Street. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yangzhou. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and the service was very thoughtful. The room had a balcony directly overlooking the canal. Knowing we had a high-speed train at 3 PM, they even offered us a complimentary late checkout. Definitely five stars!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right at the eastern entrance of Dongguan Street and across from the ancient canal, making transportation very convenient. The dining is fantastic, and the staff provide wonderful service. It's a great choice for travelers.
