The hotel's location is quite remote. There are no convenience stores within walking distance, and food deliveries take 30 minutes or even longer. It's a 15-minute drive to the Grand Canal Museum. **Ambiance:** The hotel is relatively new and quiet. It shares a common area with the Kempinski. **Facilities:** The facilities are new, but there are many impractical design choices. The sink faucet is a rotary knob, which is very inconvenient to use. The waterproof sealant strip in our bathroom was broken. The toilet isn't a smart one, so it's cold and uncomfortable to sit on. The nightlight mode is too bright and disrupts sleep. The pillows are the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced – extremely soft and flat, offering no support whatsoever. I woke up feeling exhausted after one night. However, the overall design style is cozy, and my child actually quite liked it. **Service:** The service was standard, with daily replenishment and cleaning. We received a welcome fruit, but nothing else special. It's quite rare these days for a hotel to charge a deposit during check-in, but the refund was processed quickly. I'm not sure why they even bother with a deposit.

For my trip to Yangzhou with my parents, I chose the Kempinski Hotel, which recently opened. The facilities are excellent, and the entire hotel is designed with a beautiful garden landscape. There's even a high-quality fountain show every evening. When checking in, Mr. Zheng, the hotel manager, saw I was with my elderly parents and upgraded my chosen suite to a larger Salon Room. This was incredibly thoughtful, making it easier for them to move around without bumps or falls – truly touching. Throughout our stay, he was constantly checking in on us and providing excellent care. The room design and furniture placement were unique and well-thought-out. The floor-to-ceiling windows faced the large fountain, allowing us to watch the light show directly from our room without having to go outside; the balcony offered the best view. The spacious dressing room was a big plus for me, and having two bathrooms was very convenient. All in all, I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.
