This amazing hotel has unfortunately a bad reservation team. I tried to reserve a room for my family (2 parents, 2 adults and 2 children 12 and 6 years old). I tried this on the site and I found a suitable family room for all the family (4 adults and a child) except my daughter 12 years old, the price for 5 nights was 1054 euros which is reasonable for 5 stars all inclusive hotel. I emailed the reservation centr to let me have my daughter with us in the same room with or without adding a bed. The big surprise is that they agreed to add her but the price is raised to 2250 USD with the condition of reserve it without the agencies. Exploitation!! Really deceiving

- Put in the wrong room on our first night after arriving at midnight. - Housekeeping locked us out of our room (which is falling apart, was only built last year apparently) while we were in the lounge pool, so couldn’t access the room from the pool stairs. I then had to ask 5 different staff members what to do as none of them could help. Eventually got a spare key after 30 minutes of looking for help. - I had to turn the water off to the toilet as it was making a loud noise during the night - Our bathroom stunk of cigarette smoke which we assume was coming from the bathroom riser vent - Food was poor… we love Mediterranean food, but this is the worst food we’ve had in Turkey out of the 3 times we’ve been. Oh and by the way, you have to pay for freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning… €3 a pop, lovely stuff. Ice cream is a 5 min walk from the pool, be prepared to be covered in the stuff when you arrive back at the pool. - Certain staff are friendly, we found reception staff to be the worst which is hard to believe - Stray cats in the restaurant Conclusion - very disappointing, wouldn’t return or recommend.

Stayed with family in two ground floor swim up rooms , recently opened, and all I can is wow . The rooms , the surrounding area and the bars were all first class, we were all very impressed. It was definitely a little 5* oasis in a 4* resort. A lot of the other rooms, particularly by the animal enclosures looked from the outside a little run down, however I can’t comment on the interior. The hotel and grounds however were lovely, the large pool and bars were very nice and the whole ambiance was relaxing. The restaurant always had tables and seating even for 6 of us and the food was very enjoyable. We all had a really lovely holiday, and would recommend. If I had to find a negative, the beach wasn’t to my liking, a bit dirty in places and too stony. However, other than that, no complaints at all .

Beach access/garden was brilliant, services and buffets in both restaurant and bars excellent. Kids club and shows with fantastic entertainement including presentation is a great success with Adem (Master entertainer) and occasional other programmes (Kenian, Mongolian/Chinese) where fun and laughters are guaranteed.

Our stay at Tuana had positives and negatives.
Positives:
- Family rooms are spacious. Probably the biggest we had stayed in and seemed newly decorated.
- Grounds were well maintained. The accommodation as a whole is huge and it was always kept clean and tidy. There is a cycle track around it and they can transport you around on golf buggies.
- Prices. Lots of shops at normal prices.
Negatives:
- Although the rooms were spacious the balcony was non existent. It could only sit one person on and wasn’t relaxing at all. The rooms were also noisy. Could hear a whole conversation from next door and every foot step guests from upstairs took.
- The service provided was disappointing. Most waiting staff just stood around. In our whole stay we never had anyone come to take a drinks order at meal times and the plates were often left stacked up until we left the table.
- Pool was cramped. We travelled during term time and struggled to get a sunbed around the pool after 10:30 so I dread to think what it would be like during summer holidays.
- Payable smoothies / juice bar. Small gripe really but had to pay for smoothies / juices at smoothie bar which we weren’t made aware of.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. However we wouldn’t rate this 5* maybe 3*plus or 4* at best. It does have everything a 5* needs but just feels like something is missing.

Top spot for a family beach and poolside holiday. Nice pier extending into the sea if you don’t like getting yourself sanded.
