Hotel Indigo Yantai Golden Coast

Stayed for two nights, the hotel is new and excellent. It's right by Golden Beach, and the sea-view room was very comfortable. The service was fantastic, especially Bonnie, who was warm and accommodating to every request. Definitely a big thumbs up! I'll stay here again next time I'm in Yantai.

Room 801 was an absolute steal! It's not even a sea-view room by price, but it offers a completely unobstructed ocean view. The breakfast is consistently excellent with a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, and it all tastes great. It's a stark contrast to the breakfast at the MGM I stayed at in Qingdao, which didn't make me want to go at all.

Excellent hotel! A special thank you to the two lovely ladies from Qingdao working at the front desk – they gave me special treatment as a Trip.com member. The breakfast was plentiful with many local specialties, and the coffee was great too.

We were upgraded to a high-floor twin room, and they even offered a free extra bed and complimentary breakfast for the child. The hotel is right by the beach and close to many popular spots. My child loved the kids' craft activities. The breakfast was also a highlight, quite good for this hotel class, with all the standard five-star amenities plus plenty of local specialties. The gym equipment, however, was a bit basic.

Service: During the May Day holiday, Zoe proactively communicated check-in details, showing great patience and thoughtfulness. She met all our check-in needs and even checked in with us during our stay – very satisfied! Also, since it was a holiday and the delivery robot couldn't make it, a lovely young man at the entrance helped deliver our meal. Overall, the hotel's service was quite good, and the staff were all very friendly and greeted us warmly 🙋‍♀️. Environment: The breakfast was excellent, and the window view was beautiful. Travel Photography: The hotel's travel photography was high quality. The photographer was very dedicated, and the photo output rate was high. DIY: It happened to rain during our stay, so we tried the hotel's DIY activity, which was also a pretty good experience.

An excellent experience! The sea-view room offered fantastic views and was very spacious. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the dinner buffet was also quite good. You could watch the sunset from both the room and the restaurant. Definitely worth another visit!

This beachfront hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the sea, making walks incredibly convenient. The facilities are complete and well-maintained. Bonnie, one of the staff members, was very kind and helpful. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay. It's definitely my top choice for a relaxing vacation, and I genuinely recommend it.

The hotel's location is great, right across from the sea – just cross the road and you're there. The sand at Golden Beach is really fine, and we found a lot of treasures while beachcombing. The hotel service was very good, and there were plenty of activities for the kids to join. My only complaint is that the room felt a bit stuffy and lacked good ventilation.

Yantai Development Zone boasts a plethora of new hotels, with numerous international brands clustered together. This trip, I stayed at the Indigo. The Indigo features its signature glass structure, known for its transparency. However, in the sea-view rooms, the stunning ocean vista is framed entirely by floor-to-ceiling windows. If the glass gets dirty, the expansive feeling of the sea is significantly diminished. Compared to some nearby hotels that offer open-air balconies, it lacks the refreshing experience of facing the sea breeze directly and the relaxed intimacy of being close to the ocean. This made the initial awe a little less impactful. Nevertheless, the location is excellent; you just cross the road and you're at Golden Beach. All of the hotel's sea-view rooms face north. In the evening, the sunset slowly dips into the Bohai Sea, casting a shimmering golden light across the water. As the hustle and bustle fade, only the sea breeze and twilight remain, creating a perfectly gentle atmosphere.
