Penglai Wonderland Marriott Hotel

I recently stayed at the Penglai Marriott Hotel, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations! As a seaside resort hotel, its location, service details, and facilities are all highly recommended. 📍 Location: 10/10 The hotel boasts a prime location on the Penglai beachfront, with rooms facing the azure sea and sky, allowing you to enjoy sunrises and sunsets without leaving your room. It's only a 10-minute walk to the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea Scenic Area and a 15-minute drive to Penglai Pavilion, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. Evening strolls along the seaside boardwalk, with the sea breeze on your face, are absolutely delightful. 🏨 Hotel Environment and Design: 9.5/10 The lobby design blends modern art with Penglai's Taoist cultural elements, creating a grand yet localized atmosphere. The rooms are well-laid out, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. The bedding is comfortable, and the hygiene is impeccable; I especially appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom and the high-quality toiletries provided. 🍽 Dining Experience: 9/10 The breakfast selection was plentiful, offering both classic Western dishes and local specialties (such as Penglai noodles and seafood porridge), with fresh ingredients. For dinner, we tried the seafood set meal at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The chef's control of cooking time and seasoning was perfect, and the waiters even thoughtfully explained the stories behind the dishes. 👨👩👧 Family-Friendly: 9.10 Families with children will definitely love this place! The hotel has an indoor children's playground and an outdoor swimming pool (open in summer), and staff will give children small toys. There are many nearby attractions, so kids won't be bored all day. 🌟 Service Details: 9.10 From check-in to check-out, we experienced meticulous and thoughtful service throughout. Check-in was quick at the front desk, room service was responsive, and the concierge proactively offered suggestions for nearby attractions. Upon check-out, the front desk gave us a small souvenir from Penglai, a very thoughtful touch. 📌 Tips: · We recommend choosing a high-floor ocean-view room for a more expansive view; · The hotel garden is perfect for an evening stroll and takes great photos; · Off-season bookings offer better value; keep an eye out for special packages in advance. If you're planning a vacation in Penglai or looking for a relaxing seaside hotel, this is definitely worth adding to your list. Already looking forward to coming back!

A great hotel. The room is very comfortable, has everything you need, and I especially love the soft bed linens. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay 🤌🏻☺️

The room's facilities were old and smelly, and the hygiene was very poor. The tabletops and countertops hadn't been cleaned in a long time and were covered in a layer of dust.

It's so noisy, even the bath towels are yellowed...

The front desk staff has a bad attitude and no professional ethics at all! Before finishing the business of one customer, they started to handle the business of another customer. This is the first time I have seen such interlaced check-in procedures. It was chaotic, the attitude was bad, and they shirked responsibility!
