Marriott Yantai

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the seaside boardwalk in the development zone. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, well-equipped, and the bedding quality is high. There's a great variety of breakfast options, definitely worth it. The staff are warm and polite, highly commendable. The placement of the kettle inside the cabinet in the room is a bit inconvenient, and the external laundry service is too expensive. It would be great if self-service laundry was available!

An excellent experience! The hotel is right next to Jinshatan Beach, offering expansive sea views. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and beautiful scenery. Airla, a staff member, provided warm and thoughtful service. The dining options were rich, and the breakfast was authentic and delicious. The heated pool and gym on the third floor are well-equipped, and there's a dedicated water play lane, making it a perfect choice for family vacations. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in the development zone, making it convenient for getting around. Jinshatan beach is right downstairs. Our room was upgraded to an executive floor with a large balcony offering direct sea views. The big bathtub was perfect for unwinding after a long day. You can even watch the sunrise and sunset! The hotel's breakfast has a great variety and good quality. We also received a complimentary travel photoshoot. Coming after the summer holiday, the value for money was excellent.

Facilities: Standard business style, a big thank you to the front desk and our butler Rose for upgrading our room since we were traveling with a baby. For families with kids, this hotel is super convenient as the back door leads right to the beach. During the summer peak season, the hotel offered an indoor mini soft play area and an outdoor inflatable pool castle, which was more than enough entertainment for our three-year-old. Breakfast was decent, and the executive lounge drinks and snacks were good too. Highly recommend the eight-delicacy buns at the Chinese restaurant. Dinner was worth the price; we were too lazy to go out with the baby, so we just ate at the hotel restaurant. It's a shame that due to the weather, it was moved indoors, so we couldn't enjoy the sunset. If we get a chance to visit Yantai again, we'd definitely stay here! ❤️

The breakfast was great, with a good variety and delicious taste. The executive lounge benefits were just okay, nothing special. The hotel staff's service attitude was super good. The hotel's backyard leads directly to the beach, which is very convenient for kids to play in the sand. Plus, there are faucets for rinsing off and sand toys right at the entrance. The ocean view from the hotel balcony is incredibly beautiful. If 100 is a perfect score, 99 points go to the scenery. If I go again, I would probably book this hotel again.

The sand at Golden Beach is incredibly fine, and the location is superb – just a few steps downstairs directly to the beach. I recommend booking a sea view room. The service attitude is also excellent; they even help deliver takeout to your room. The cleanliness is good too. Make sure to check the weather; a sunny day makes the sea view absolutely beautiful!

Facilities: It has the feel of an older hotel. It would be great if there was a self-service laundry machine. Free underground parking is available 🅿. Hygiene: The room overall was good, and the public areas were also very comfortable. Environment: It's right by the sea, offering excellent views. The hotel thoughtfully provided a sand bucket for the children, which was a nice touch. Service: The check-in front desk and Chinese restaurant service deserve 100 points; the overall experience was excellent. However, there were issues with the on-site crowd management at the breakfast entrance. For two consecutive days during peak breakfast hours, guests had to wait in long lines to be seated. Despite there being empty, cleaned tables available, guests were still made to queue outside, which left them quite confused. We hope the seating guidance during peak hours can be improved to enhance the breakfast dining experience.

Very close to the beach, but quite a distance from the city center. Within a 5km radius, there's Impression Yantai, Haolijia, Yangyanghong, and more. The room has a balcony, but it's the smallest one I've ever seen – well, better than nothing, I guess. It was cloudy during my entire stay, so I didn't get to see the sunrise or sunset. The service was good though, and I had a pleasant experience overall.

Our vacation experience at Xinhua Marriott was truly amazing! The hotel is right next to Jinsha Beach, so you can step out and enjoy a relaxing ocean view. The scenery is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent facilities and soft, comfortable bedding. The service team is warm and attentive; Airla proactively offered travel tips, and the attention to detail was perfect. Surrounded by black pine forests, the air is fresh, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing family getaway.
