In order to avoid crowds and noise, I specially avoided coming to Penglai Pavilion during peak hours. In the past, there were two requirements for choosing a B&B: near the sea and quiet. However, after reading the reviews and choosing this B&B, I still failed 😒. It was so full of flaws that I couldn't help but complain to my friends in the middle of the night (the last picture). I can say that I almost didn't sleep the whole night. 1. [Hygiene]: The B&B is in an alley, and the road is not easy to walk on. There is no light on the road when walking alone at night. Maybe I am brave. When I returned to the room, I found that the walls were covered with stains. That was not the case, but when I opened the bath towel, I was shocked. What was this yellow unidentified object? I seriously doubt whether it was cleaned. Because it was already late at night, and I used the towel I brought with me, I didn't argue with the boss, but it was really disgusting. 2. [Soundproofing]: The small spring day and big bed room were clearly next door, but for some reason the boss placed me in the room closest to the door. Later I found out that the boss and his family lived in it. This is very strange, as usually the owner of a B&B will live in the outermost room to facilitate reception and also to avoid disturbing the guests by walking back and forth. There were few guests that day, so I thought it would be quiet, but it was very noisy. The room has very poor soundproofing and is close to the corridor, with no soundproof carpet on the floor, so whenever someone walks around, it sounds like they are in my room. In the middle of the night, I kept hearing the clacking of slippers and the boss turning on the radio and looking at his phone. I couldn't help but go out to remind him, but it was almost one or two o'clock. I finally lay down and prepared to sleep, and found that the room was bright. It turned out that the border between the room and the corridor was made of glass, which allowed light to pass through. As an insomniac, I was speechless for the whole moment. I am a light sleeper to begin with, and all these spots were in my minefields. I had to find something to block out the light myself. I was so sleepy that I just fell asleep at three or four o'clock. At seven o'clock, it started to get lively outside. The elders in the boss's family were laughing and chatting loudly, and my daughter was running around in the corridor calling for her mother, leaving me alone in the room to collapse. Please, although the B&B is your home, I am also a guest who spent several hundred dollars to stay here. Can you please not be so selfish and capricious? ! Can you consider the feelings of the guests? ! Don't choose this one if you want quietness, and don't choose this one if you want shallow sleep! Don’t ask me why I didn’t say it at the time. After all, a girl was traveling alone in another place and didn’t want to have a face-to-face conflict with others. The boss and his family are not very enthusiastic. As for the breakfast delivery or pick-up service mentioned in other reviews, I didn't ask and didn't experience it, but I just want to enjoy the experience that I spent so much money on. It's really outrageous...

The price of the B&B is too expensive. It is very different from the pictures. The room is on the first floor and the window opens to a narrow corridor with no ventilation. I didn't feel comfortable after sleeping for a whole night. The price is a bit expensive. Traffic is also average. The publicity is a bit exaggerated.
