Hilton Yantai

I booked a 3-night stay during the National Day holiday. I initially thought the hotel was a bit old, but given the crowds and potential traffic jams during the holiday, and its excellent location within walking distance to several attractions, I didn't have high expectations. However, from check-in, the executive twin room I originally booked was upgraded to a sea-view room with an excellent location, specially arranged because my husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Later, Sally noticed our group was larger and proactively helped us change rooms. She even accompanied me to view the new room first, and after I was satisfied, she processed the change. The executive lounge access, originally for two, was extended to include an additional person, which I really appreciate! For such an outstanding employee, it's worth staying here again. After a few days, I grew to love this hotel even more. It's within walking distance to several key attractions (Chaoyang Street, Yantai Tian, Hongkou 1920, Suochengli, etc.), and the hotel's breakfast is also great, with a variety of freshly squeezed juices and handmade noodles, blending Chinese and Western styles. Dining in the sea-view restaurant on the 26th floor made me feel particularly relaxed. The weather was also lovely during the National Day holiday, with jelly-like clear seas everywhere, which made me fall in love with this city. I'll definitely come back next year, and I'll stay at this hotel again!

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location, right in the center of several attractions. It's within walking distance to the Changyu Wine Museum, Binhai Square, Chaoyang Street, Suochengli, and Yantai Mountain. During peak holiday seasons, you don't have to worry about traffic or parking when visiting attractions. There are also several large shopping malls and numerous restaurants nearby, making it suitable for both tourists exploring sights and those looking for a relaxing holiday with daily walks by the sea. The hotel was almost fully booked during the National Day holiday. I had previously noted that I was traveling with my parents and wanted a room close to the elevator but also quiet. Candy arranged the room before our arrival, and the extra bed was already in place. The sea view directly faces the ocean, offering a wide and open vista. Since the hotel is quite old, some facilities show their age, but it's kept clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms in the sea-view rooms are large, with separate wet and dry areas, and also feature large floor-to-ceiling windows. Although the room itself isn't huge, its layout is square and practical, and the soundproofing is good. I had read that getting from the underground parking to the room required two elevator transfers, but the walking distance isn't far at all, and there are many elevators, so waiting times aren't long. It's quite acceptable. Regarding dining, during peak breakfast hours on holidays, there was a short queue, but it was orderly, and the waiting time was only about ten minutes as the turnover was quick. The hotel even utilized the lobby lounge area as an additional dining space. I noticed many staff members in different attire, likely from various departments, helping out. Despite the large crowd, both cleaning and food replenishment were very prompt, and the variety of dishes was extensive. The Chinese restaurant on the fifth floor of the hotel also has excellent food, and in-house guests receive a 12% discount. It's a great option if you don't want to go out, offering local specialties, Shandong cuisine, and Sichuan cuisine. Although the prices were doubled during the holiday, the overall comfort and convenience made it quite good value for money.

My stay exceeded expectations, and I'd like to specifically thank Eric. He was incredibly patient during our conversations, diligently helped resolve all my questions, and provided professional yet warm service. The room hygiene was excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the accompanying pool and gym facilities were all top-notch. Thanks to outstanding staff like Eric, my overall stay was significantly enhanced. It was a very pleasant beachfront accommodation experience that I highly recommend to everyone.

Hilton is almost always my go-to hotel chain for every trip. The quality is guaranteed, and the prices are reasonable. For my recent visit to Yantai, I also chose this hotel, which boasts the best location in the city. Check-in on the 26th floor went smoothly, and we were assigned a fantastic view room on the 37th floor. The panoramic view of Yantai's three-sided harbor was breathtaking! Just a short walk across the street, there's also the Hongkou 1902 themed street, which is great for exploring. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and diverse. Hilton's signature Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles were a welcome comfort for us, as people from the northwest who hadn't had noodles in days. We received complimentary welcome fruits upon arrival, and a bag of large Yantai apples as a farewell gift when we checked out, which was such a warm and thoughtful touch. Those big apples were super delicious! I'll definitely keep choosing Hilton in the future.

My stay was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. The location is superb, making it very convenient to go out for food and shopping. The breakfast with its high-altitude view was fantastic, and Lito provided attentive service. The swimming pool and gym facilities were complete. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Check-in on the 26th floor was super fast, thanks to Lisa at the front desk. She arranged a room with an amazing view, a fantastic spot to see the ocean. I really loved the hotel's decor; it was clean and tidy. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted superb. The staff were warm and friendly. I highly recommend it! Excellent service, definitely worth coming back!

The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and even gave us apples. The room was spacious and faced the sea. Overall, it was a great experience. The surrounding transportation is convenient, making it easy to get to Chaoyang Street, Hongkou, and Suochengli.

I had a very comfortable stay here. The location is excellent, and the front desk service was great. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the sea view is absolutely fantastic. It's truly a hotel well-recommended by online reviews. I'll definitely book this place again on my next visit.

The location is fantastic! You can take a bus directly from Yantai Station. Zhangyu Museum is right across the street, and Yantai Mountain, Hongkou 1920, and Suochengli are all within walking distance. Fisherman's Wharf and Moon Bay 🌙 are just a 1 RMB bus ride away. The sea view from here is breathtaking!
