Ephesia Holiday Beach Club

We stayed at the Ephesia Holiday Beach Club for 1 week in September 23. We booked a Superior double swim up room. This was a nice sized room with comfortable bed. Walk in shower. Safe, fridge , kettle and Aircon provided. Wifi seemed to have fair coverage around the hotel – a bit slow but free. The pool outside the room was not private and could be used by any guests and had no shallow part (1.4m). There are other swim up rooms in the Family Pool which appeared to have their own small areas. Food was ok – available in the Sunset buffet restaurant which was always quite busy and seating was sometimes an issue. Also snack bars (Burgers, pizza etc) at lunchtime. The themed restaurants season ended when we arrived so couldn’t try those. Alcohol seemed ok – lager taps advertised Efes but not so sure it was. Drinks were served in plastic coated paper cups which went soggy (although the bar upstairs in the La Veranda restaurant was still open and they used glasses). Plenty of bottled water provided in various fridges around the hotel. The hotel is right on the sea front. Ideal location to watch some impressive sunsets. There is a small beach which made a nice change to sitting around the pool however it was a bit dirty with litter and cigarette ends. We wasn’t really interested in evening entertainment at the ampitheatre (see photo of activities board). Not much outside the hotel – a few shops, couple of places to eat and at the top of the road (5 min walk) is an indoor Bazaar selling fake handbags / clothes etc. Nothing really wrong here but it’d be nice if they gave the beach a rake over, replace the cracked plastic chairs outside the restaurant / pool bar and used an alternative to the paper cups. All in all we had a good relaxed week in the sun staying at the Ephesia. We would return if there’s a deal on.

Odaya yorulmuş ama eğlenceye doymuş giriyorsunuz ardından tatlı bir uyku. Ve sonra yine eğlence. Tatlı ve güzel bir otel şimdiden ilgilendikleri için teşekkürler

Loved the children's section to eat,. The lunch time crepes in the hut was a special touch. Loved the snack bar. Foam party was fun. Ps if you are flying home from Izmir go straight to burger king it's the only food option, get there before queue starts ✈️👑🍔

We have done one week here and have had the best time. The rooms were clean and the house keepers were very nice and friendly and even made special touches for the kids. The food was very good with a good choice for everyone in our family. The entertainment team was fantastic making sure everyone had lots of fun during the day and also at night. We especially found Barney and Yasmine to be extremely good and made our holiday even better.. we will definitely be returning.

The hotel was really nice and clean, the food was a good variety and choice for both adults and kids. We did one week here and there were lots to do. We travelled as a family of 4 (9-year-old boy/girl twins) at the end of June and stayed for 1 week. We stayed in a family swim up room, in the older side, we walked past the more modern family swim up rooms which also looked very nice and I was told they had big tvs with netflix included if that is something that people feel they need in their room maybe this is the swim up room option you choose. Rooms were cleaned every day, and the whole ground was very clean and maintained by staff who can be seen working extremely Hard. I read the reviews on here which were mixed and joined a Facebook group prior to going for a few top tips and see what people could suggest. We had a fabulous time, and made some great memories! I have broken it down into Pros and Cons for ease of the review. Tips: *Take swim shoes/socks for children (you can buy these in the shop on site) the floor near the pools does have a carpet to prevent slipping but around the loungers and in and out the pool does get hot. *Take plastic glasses for around the pool- this was a recommendation I picked up before we went. *If you like Vodka and red bull, you can buy the red bull for 40TL from the onsite shop. the ice cream was very well advertised but this can be found up the stairs near the onsite shop. *Join the facebook page- people advertise their inflatables on here, we brought our own but then gave them away, so you may not need to buy some as a lot give them away for free! *make sure you bring enough suncream, or buy some in the supermarket out the hotel and down the road. It’s called “SOK” and is dirt cheap. The suncream in the hotel is £25 for a small bottle of Nivea- don’t get stung! *We ate out across the road at Mare Bistro and I highly recommend this place. Great service and food was delicious, and a nice change from the AI buffet. Pros: *Family holiday geared up for families and keeping them entertained throughout the day with the entertainment team - a busy noisy hotel if your wanting a quieter holiday. *Great pools and slides for kids and a splash park *Has a private beach which is stone mix and sand. *There is also a public beach with bars and restaurants a short walk away *Taxi was about 10 mins and cost 200TL into Kusadasi which is a beautiful historic town full of shops and restaurants and a port *There is a bazaar up the road about 5 mins walk away selling “real genuine turkey fakes”. *Food is traditional Turkish, and had a wide range of meats, salads, and if your adventurous like I am you will enjoy trying all the different flavours they have. *The Spa facilities were great. First experience of a turkish bath and massage, and my daughter had a chocolate version. Both for 40 euros. *The games room was enjoyed by my husband and son who went here a few times. Cons: *I have fussy eaters, so the food was not bad at all, but sometimes we struggled to get them a proper meal.
