Yamagata Kaku Hotel & Spa

The room was spacious, allowing my children plenty of space to move around. The hotel is very child-friendly, providing a baby bathtub, kids' shower gel, and a cot. We were on a self-driving trip, and there's a parking lot outside. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning was stuck at 26 degrees Celsius. However, the hotel promptly moved us to another room which was slightly cooler. Breakfast was included and tasted great, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this stay and would definitely come again.

The hotel's location is convenient, and all the staff are friendly and enthusiastic. They even proactively offered umbrellas to guests when it rained ☔️, which was very professional. The bathroom was spacious, and the lighting was soft and comfortable, which was great 👍🏼. The only minor drawback was the limited number of indoor parking spaces that lead directly to the hotel's guest room floors.

This hotel, Yamagata Kaku, boasts an excellent location, very close to the train station, making it super convenient whether you're traveling by public transport or driving. Parking was also a breeze. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making you feel relaxed the moment you step in. The on-site hot spring facilities are top-notch; soaking there was incredibly therapeutic and completely washed away my travel fatigue. The yukata provided was soft and comfortable to wear, showing great attention to detail. A nice bonus was being able to take the slippers home, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay and would definitely consider returning to this excellent hotel.

The bed was super large and the comforter was very comfortable. The toilet was a Japanese-style bidet. Since the room had its own private onsen, I didn't go to the hotel's public hot spring this time. There's a gym and an e-sports room, which is really great! It's about a ten-minute walk from the Jiaoxi MRT bus station, which is a bit far. It would be more convenient if I could catch the train. The hotel room was clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly :)

The room was quite spacious, and the in-room hot spring bath was excellent. There are three public pools – two large and one small – with different temperatures. The staff were polite. The only area for improvement is breakfast; it's advertised as a main course with a salad bar, but the main course was just average, and the most disappointing part was the bread pudding dessert, which wasn't good at all.

The hotel's front desk staff were very welcoming, and the parking lot security guards were super friendly too. The hotel is very close to the train station, making it easy to walk everywhere. The room was a little old but extremely clean, and the bathrobes were both comfortable and cute. The hotel has private hot springs, with each room having its own soaking tub, filled with the same hot spring water, which was incredibly relaxing. The Sanyou Ramen restaurant downstairs is delicious, and hotel guests even get a discount.

The hotel front desk staff were excellent and gave a detailed introduction to the hotel. The towels and ice I requested were also delivered to the room very quickly. The only minor issues were that there was only one power outlet next to the bed and the shampoo and body wash being combined in the shower was a bit odd. Otherwise, everything was great, especially the hot tub which was a super spacious 2 meters!
