Kilin Hotel JiaoXi

This hotel is very close to Jiaoxi train station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Even if breakfast isn't included, you can easily find a breakfast spot in the vicinity. Plus, Yishunxuan (a famous pastry shop) is right next door, which is super convenient for buying souvenirs. The room having a bathtub is a nice bonus. I'd recommend staying in Jiaoxi if you're planning to visit Toucheng or Guishan Island, as there are direct buses available.

The location is excellent! The hotel is in the bustling Jiaoxi downtown area. Yishunxuan is just a few steps downstairs, making it very convenient to buy souvenirs. There are many food stalls and restaurants to choose from near the hotel. The hotel's rooftop has an open-air hot spring, and on a clear day, you can even see Guishan Island. Mr. Zhiwen, the staff member on the rooftop, was incredibly polite and responsible. Vivian, the lobby manager, and Eva from the lobby were very friendly and professional, providing a lot of excellent service during our stay.

I booked a high-floor, large room, and it was spacious and comfortable with an unbeatable view, offering a distant view of Guishan Island. The in-room hot tub was also quite large. There's a swimming pool, a SPA pool, and even a rooftop outdoor onsen, all of which you can use to your heart's content. Once checked in, you won't want to leave!

The outside of the window was very dirty, so I had to keep the curtains drawn the whole time. There was a foul smell when I opened the closet. Before going out, I left a room card in the power slot. The cleaning staff took it without permission while cleaning. When I returned, I found that the clothes I had washed were still soaking wet. I reported the incident to the front desk, and the staff's attitude was just okay. All four pillows were too soft; the stuffing kept shifting when I slept, making it uncomfortable.

The hot spring bath in the room is spacious, big enough for two people to enjoy. The rooftop nude bath offers great views, and you can even see Guishan Island. The downside is that the Spa facilities on the 3rd floor are old and half of them are out of order. They provide kickboards in the swimming pool, and it's nice that you can still use the facilities after check-out. Our three-day, two-night trip was very relaxing, and it's convenient to buy food nearby.

I booked two rooms, one for my friend. The beds and pillows were super comfortable! My friend also raved about how good the bed was, and loved that there were two pillows. The location is also excellent – perfect for dinner, late-night snacks, and drinks, all within walking distance so you don't have to drive anywhere. Souvenir shopping is right next door too! However, the hygiene needs some attention! Was the fridge not cleaned properly?

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities, and there are plenty of indoor parking spaces, so you don't have to worry about the sun. The location is excellent with many restaurants nearby, and it's very convenient for souvenir shopping. Although there were few staff members at the front desk, they were all very friendly. However, check-in took a bit longer than expected. A minor downside was that the coffee machine at the afternoon bar was broken, and there was no ice, which was a shame given the hot weather.
