Cons: The room had mismatched beds (one large, one small). The overall decor felt very dated, almost from the last century. The room lighting was dim, and the bedside outlets had low voltage, causing power banks and phones to charge extremely slowly. The bathroom was quite small, making it difficult for a larger person to turn around comfortably, and there weren't enough bath mats. Pros: The location is excellent, directly opposite Dongmen Night Market. There's a McDonald's right next door, and a laundry shop and Watsons are conveniently located nearby. They offer complimentary bicycle rentals, and we even received a thoughtful farewell gift upon check-out. The staff provided excellent service, offering a map and helpful local recommendations.

You have to drive to find food at the hotel location, but there is Quanlian next to it. There are a lot of people on holidays, so the time for breakfast is relatively short, so you have to get up early to take care of children. There is a game room, where you can play with the train once, and there are game consoles that you can reserve.

This hotel boasts an excellent location in the city center, within walking distance of Yilan Station and Dongmen Night Market. The interior, restrooms, and restaurant have all been renovated, giving it a completely new feel (Google Street View hasn't been updated in four years). On my weekday check-in day, they called in advance to confirm my arrival time and helped turn on the air conditioning, but perhaps due to low bookings, the hallway air conditioning wasn't on at all, making the room and elevator a bit stuffy. The complimentary breakfast was a four-course Chinese meal, including white porridge and common side dishes. The toaster had toast and round bread rolls, and the coffee machine had Americano and cocoa, the same as the one in the lobby. There was also milk and soy milk available for making your own latte. There were two parking spaces in front of the hotel (parking under the arcade requires payment). Parking under the arcade seems to be allowed in Yilan, as most nearby households do this. There's also a paid overnight parking lot nearby (with a daily limit on weekdays), and a few free parking areas along the street. Parking was the only problem while staying here.

The hotel experience truly exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect – not only convenient for getting around but also surrounded by beautiful scenery. The rooms were spotlessly clean, which was incredibly impressive; the immaculate environment ensures every guest feels comfortable and at ease, with meticulous attention to detail evident everywhere. The facilities were modern and well-equipped, and the service was both prompt and genuinely warm. I highly recommend it to any traveler seeking a premium accommodation experience!

The location is excellent, near the train station and the night market. While the rooms are unique, the facilities are dated. The lack of standard double rooms also makes it lacking in refinement. The facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness was better than expected. Regarding the luggage storage service, they only allow customers to store their luggage in a corner, which I felt was a bit lacking in attentiveness and security.

One of the hotel crew with the name Rosie is very helpful. She has been very thoughtful and helpful from the day 1 of our visit. She really makes a difference for our trip. Overall this is a very nice hotel to stay for family with nice breakfast.

Silks Place Hotel is a true paradise for kids, offering electric cars, trampolines, games, unlimited drinks, and snacks. The guest rooms are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with amenities. The vast majority of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We also booked the renowned 'Red House' roast duck meal, which was absolutely delicious! Definitely worth recommending!

Simple room. It not those super nice hotel. Good for a night and is very near to the train station and most of the local tourist attraction places. Night market is right beside

Overall, everything is pretty good! There are too many faucets, and it is troublesome to familiarize yourself with them all. The service attitude of the breakfast staff is very good, and the dishes are also good!

We booked two rooms, one large family room and one couple room. The prior one is spacious, very well designed and it even has an amazing sauna room which was a nice touch to the stay. The kids had loads of fun and laughter. The beds are huge so it can easily fit 4 and maybe even 5 for younger kids. The later is a bit worn down with wallpaper coming off, stains around the tub and just an overall worn down feel to it. So if you can afford a few hundred NT$ more, I would suggest staying at the bigger room to enjoy a good full stay. Breakfast is delicious 😋
