Yilan Luodong Town Hotels

A family of 5: the kids enjoyed the room with the slide v much. The 3 queen beds(2 on upper loft) and 1 on lower floor were very comfortable, pillows offered decent support. A fan was provided in room to circulate the air. Kids really enjoyed sliding down but sound proofing of the room not that thick so we were told that the kids were too noisy. The staff were v helpful with the carpark arrangement at a separate site, we didn’t have to worry abt getting a carpark lot on all 3 days.  Not so great: The Minsu’s toilet has no non-slip flooring or bathmats inside so hard to dry the toilet floor after a shower. Shampoo & body soap provided though. No shower curtains. Staff didn’t make up the room although we hung the tag to clean room. They did apologise when we asked abt it.  All in all, a restful stay, with good space for the family with our 2 luggages opened on the sofa. Would recommend if kids are young & would love the slide room. Walking distance to Luodong Night Market too.

The location is excellent, right next to Luodong Train Station. It's a 10-minute walk to Luodong Night Market, and only an 8-minute taxi ride to Qinggou Night Market. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk upgraded us to a quad room for free, which instantly made the space much more comfortable. The room had a bathtub and two double beds. We had a great stay for both nights.

Room was spacious and clean, toilet has bidet, very good and lift available for disabled. Free self-service laundry but dryer needs NT$30 for 30 mins which I think it’s fair. Location is good for food at night market. However, it would be quite inconvenient for big bus or van to come into the narrow road…. I will reconsider this place next time.

The location was incredibly convenient, close to both the train station and night market by scooter. The accommodation had an elevator, and the hallways were bright and clean. The bathroom even had a heater, so it never felt damp after showering. The reception staff were friendly during check-in, and initially, I had a great impression of the place. However, the luggage storage and assistance service after check-out were extremely disappointing. Check-out was managed with a 'guests out, no entry' policy, and there were no staff members around at the time. Seeing other guests who had checked out also leaving their luggage on the first floor, we did the same, intending to go buy some refrigerated souvenirs. Later, I specifically called to ask if I could borrow their fridge to store food. The first staff member I spoke to said that once we returned to the guesthouse, we should call again, and they would come down to open the door for us. Upon returning to the guesthouse, I called again. This time, a different staff member answered and asked us to wait a moment. We waited outside the door for a full 20 minutes, with no one proactively informing us of the situation or calling back to explain. We just sat there by the door. Eventually, a new guest arrived, and unable to enter, I explained to them that we were waiting for staff to open the door. They were also incredulous that we had been waiting for 20 minutes and kindly offered to call on our behalf. After hanging up, they told me, 'It seems like they are inside.' Less than 3 minutes later, someone came downstairs and opened the door for us. If there truly were staff inside the whole time, yet they left guests waiting outside for 20 minutes without any explanation or response, it's truly baffling and makes you feel completely disrespected. Even if it's just helping retrieve stored items or refrigerating food, I'd at least expect to be proactively informed of how long the wait would be or given an update on the situation, rather than being left completely in the dark, waiting outside. Overall, the accommodation environment itself was indeed good, but this post-checkout service experience significantly impacted my impression of this guesthouse. I hope that in the future, they can improve the handover and communication processes among staff to prevent other travelers from encountering the same situation.

The room was simply refurbished and the soundproofing was decent. Breakfast wasn't great; one day I had bread that seemed to be from a night market, along with some cold vegetables. The second day was just cold vegetables and pan-fried buns. I really wish the food was hot. Also, the shower curtain couldn't completely block the view from outside, and since the glass faced the street, showering felt quite stressful 😓

The sodium bicarbonate beauty hot spring and bath crystal salt experience were quite good. In the afternoon, there are small refreshments available in the lobby. The breakfast at 1F Ming Chu Buffet (6:30 AM - 12:30 PM) can easily be enjoyed as a brunch. The R floor rooftop Sky Bar offers 360-degree panoramic views. The downside of the accommodation is its proximity to the railway; lower floors or specific room types may easily hear the operational sounds of passing trains. It's recommended to request a higher floor when booking and try to avoid consecutive holidays to ensure the most comfortable vacation experience!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from Luodong Train Station, and within a ten-minute walk of Luodong Night Market and the Luodong Forestry Culture Park. The hotel itself occupies the seventh and eighth floors of a commercial building, which also houses other hotels and entertainment businesses. The room rates are very affordable, and the rooms are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The only minor drawback is the lack of on-site parking. However, there's a parking lot right across the street that charges NT$40 per hour, with a daily maximum of NT$120.

The hotel is incredibly close to the night market, just a short walk away. The best part is the free bicycle rental service, which makes exploring the surroundings or grabbing snacks super convenient! The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and polite, making us feel completely at ease. While the breakfast didn't offer a huge variety, every dish was exquisite and delicious. I especially recommend the hot, freshly stir-fried vegetables – they were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly quick to refill, so you never had to worry about running out. Overall, our stay was wonderful and offered great value for money. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it for our next trip!

The location is easy for travel in the area and the room is spacious and clean. There is a bathtub provided and window view is good as well.

Location: near the train station and car rentals. Part of the roads that lead to the hotel are not easy to walk on because they are narrow; you have to walk alongside cars and scooters. Hotel: very pretty hotel, outside and inside. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Facilities: Free flow of drinking water everywhere. The playground is very well maintained. Kids enjoy the electric car and playground very much. Many thoughtful and cute designs around the room, common area, and playground. e.g., music in the corridor, safe playground. Room: very spacious even for the smallest family room. Cute decor, e.g., the bird lamp and the small koala mirror. The mirror is very small but enough for use. Nice view from the balcony. Comfortable bed and blanket. The room had a musty smell, but they solved the problem by placing a dehumidifier inside the room. It's difficult to adjust the temperature of the air conditioner. Bathroom: transparent wall so you can watch the kids playing in the bathtub from the bedroom. Kids love the bathtub very much. There is also a shower available in a separate cubicle. However, there is mold in the hole of the water scoop. Hope they can change to something without holes to prevent mold from growing. Toilet: The toilet is separate from the bathroom, so different businesses can be done at the same time. Breakfast: Kids enjoyed their buffet breakfast. They could find something they want to eat, though they mainly choose something sugar-based. Menu repeated on day 3. All-in-all, we really love the hotel, and the kids keep saying they want to go back to stay at the hotel.
