We finally made it to Yaohu Town with our group voucher, just in time for spring! Our butler, Lisa, was incredibly patient and detailed, answering all our questions. She sent us transportation information beforehand, helped us upgrade our room, and even checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Truly thoughtful. The room was spacious, and I loved the scent of the toiletries. We stayed during the Spring Break and Qingming Festival long weekend, so there were tons of families with kids. Despite the crowds, the hotel ran smoothly. They even opened the Lakeside Restaurant, which, though a bit far, helped spread out the guests. For such a large and busy hotel, every staff member was patient and helpful, which speaks volumes about their meticulous management. We stayed two nights, and housekeeping even came to ask if we needed our room cleaned or anything else on the second day. Truly grateful. The breakfast was also great; we ate so much each day that we didn't even need to think about lunch, allowing us to just relax and enjoy our trip. The hotel's shuttle bus to the scenic area made getting around so much easier. We even took it to visit the Yaofang Hotel. I really recommend Yaohu Grand Hotel. Lisa also helped us book the afternoon tea included in our package – so satisfied! We'll definitely bring our family back next time.

This hotel is supposedly a converted kiln factory, so it's massive, with over 600 rooms. It's located outside the scenic area, which makes it less convenient compared to Yaohu Grand Hotel, which is directly inside the park, allowing you to pop in and rest whenever you get tired. This hotel offers a shuttle service, but during peak hours, you might wait around 15 minutes, and after a long day of walking, you still have to leave the scenic area to catch it. In every way, it falls short of Yaohu Grand Hotel. Though, Yaohu Grand Hotel is also huge, with over 700 rooms. I checked in on the second day of spring break, and there was a really long line. There were two counters dedicated to tour groups that were often empty, yet individual guests had to queue up at the single counter for individual guests, which was quite inconvenient and not very user-friendly. The butler service was excellent, though. They consistently checked in to ask how my stay was and if I had any needs, and most requests were handled promptly. This was definitely a highlight of the trip. It's impressive they manage this level of service with so many guests. Because of its size, breakfast felt like a crowded, noisy market. Dinner was a bit better, probably because the price filtered out some guests. The auntie making noodles was constantly churning out bowl after bowl. I wonder if the hotel could open a few more breakfast restaurants to help manage the crowd. With the balcony door open, you could hear conversations from next door, but once closed, it was quite quiet, so it didn't disturb sleep at night. There's a mini-train that passes by outside the window, which was a nice touch.

Tao Lu B&B in Yaohu Town was such a wonderful surprise! The scenic area is beautiful and tranquil, the water show is enchanting, and the kiln fire show in the evening is absolutely spectacular. A special thank you to our housekeeper, Wanwan, for her warm and attentive service, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The B&B facilities are excellent, with exquisite details throughout; staying here was truly a pleasure. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come for vacation!
