Great hostel, good price-quality ratio... in the morning the call to prayer starts at 4.30... I have difficulty sleeping again... if you are a good sleeper then I don't think this is a problem...

The happy budha was very nicely decorated and the hammock was really nice. The street next to happy budha is really nice, there are a lot of good restaurants. - There is not always somebody from the staff present and the hostel is next to a mosque. It really bothered us, because every morning we woke up very early. If was really loud!

I didn‘t have a good experience. The guy working there, Ardy, pretends to be a good host, but his intentions aren‘t. He is drunk every night amd tries to hid on all the girls staying there or also in the bars. I didn‘t feel safe. Also the trips I asked for weren‘t organised properly. Stay away!!!

Pleasant hostel with an attractive courtyard (and hammocks!) near Prawirotaman, with all the cafes and restaurants, without it feeling super touristy. The owner is very sweet and helpful, and helped us with all kinds of tips and arranging transport to the temple complexes. Hostel is reasonably clean, although the sheets in the bedroom look a bit old and used.

Our stay was great! The hostel is very lovingly designed and the owners are very helpful and nice and helped us with all questions and difficulties regarding excursions and onward travel, which was not so easy in times of pandemic. They even took us to an evening of live music in a nearby bar and to eat at a street food market and explained and recommended everything! We couldn't have asked for better service! So it's not so bad if the bathroom is a bit old, after all, it is a hostel!

I spent 3 nights at the Happy Buddha and felt really comfortable. Luppa and Ardi were great, super friendly and always helpful with tours and tips. I arrived at the Happy Buddha and felt at home straight away, the family atmosphere is simply unique! The hostel is clean and well maintained and lovingly furnished. If you want to spend a unique, beautiful and family-friendly time, then you should definitely stay at the Happy Buddha! I can recommend it to everyone! Thank you for the great time!
