Dagen Street
The hotel is not far from the bus stop No. 1 and No. 2 on Malioboro Street. The No. 2 platform is closer, basically in the middle of the street, opposite to the various small restaurants. It is quiet in the middle of the street. Although it is noisy outside, the hotel is very clean. Get off the shoes, have air conditioning, breakfast is simple, only bread slices, coffee and simple fruit, everything is self-service, there is free water and free Wifi, in general it is very good.

DRTY DIRTY DIRTY.. LOVE THE MOLD. I have been in Indonesia SinceDec 15, stayed in many Hotels.. some good some bad but as disgusting. total complete lack of care by Staf from ” housekeeping” .. clean sheets really do not help poor condition of room. this goes beyond Housekeeping all the way to top management.. the following words are from the Manager of a Hotel i frequent who was in shock at the photos [2/11, 10:29 AM] Deddy: Where hotel is that? [2/11, 10:29 AM] Deddy: The name of hotel? [2/11, 10:29 AM] Deddy: Thats very2 disgusting 😣 [2/11, 10:30 AM] Travellin Man: KHAS Mailiboro, [2/11, 10:30 AM] Deddy: What? Khas malioboro like that? 😧😧 [2/11, 10:31 AM] Deddy: Sangat sangat tidak bagus.. [2/11, 10:32 AM] Deddy: No maintenance, no action plan.. no no noooo 😧 [2/11, 10:34 AM] Deddy: really ignores the comfort side of guests, there is no control and direction ... very terrible [2/11, 1:01 PM] Deddy: yes, it is useful to maintain the consistency of each of the responsibilities of the staff here... as input and lessons so that things like this don't happen there

Malioboro
Nice pod concept, although the location is sort of creepy despite being right across a train station. The hostel is 100% safe thanks to the unique QR code an app system you have to use to open the main door and the pods, but the place itself is situated in a dilapidated building, with trash on the stairs. Right outside there's some street food vendors, but once again, they give you a creepy vive alongside all the people loitering there. FamilyMart and Lawson and a local convenience store are downstairs. The hostel itself is clean and the staff are nice, so much so I staid at their sister hotel in Jogjakarta, which is identical in every way. Good english. Breakfast is sort of mediocre but free (cereal with milk manually prepackaged on a cardboard box), but you can't purchase their frozen meals unless you have an Indonesian mobile app (no cash). Far from everything, but that's Jakarta for you, a city you should skip unless you have business to conduct.

When I get into the room, the room is quite small, what a little shock is that the bathroom is like a boat and a little shiny, the room is a little light, the window is very dim. Unfortunately, if there is a sound in the hallway of the room, it's very shocking inside so it's like awake. By the way, the breakfast is very good for a budget hotel like this, complete, a little more classy than other hotels in Rajasthan at the same price.
