APA Hotel and Resort Yokohama Bay Tower

There was nothing particularly special about this hotel. Check-in took more than an hour, with around 100 people waiting in line. Despite the long wait, the hotel will not extend your check-out time. Moreover, you have to complete the check-in process yourself using a computer. The housekeeping was mediocre. There was nothing special about it—they simply left clean towels in front of the room in the morning. Breakfast was completely sold out. The swimming pool was a nice option in the hot weather, but hotel guests have to pay 2,000 yen for 2.5 hours of use. Overall, the hotel feels very much like a low-cost airline: the plane is beautiful and new, but there is no real service.

As always, APA hotels are very affordable and well-located. This particular APA stood out with an extremely extravagant lobby—honestly the best I’ve ever seen at any APA property. The spa facilities were also nice. However, my room wasn’t as clean as expected. I noticed stains on both the bedsheet and the curtains, which was disappointing. Also, the front desk wasn’t flexible when I requested a 2:30 PM check-in (I understand the standard time is 3 PM, but a little flexibility would have been appreciated). Overall, great public areas and value!

Staying at the APA hotel was super convenient as the location was near to many sightseeings. And also look at the view 😍

Really clean, amenities, room spacious would recommend staying here really good location close to cup noodle factory, mall and many more

The location is great for the price, close to the station, and close to the bay within walking distance. The check-in policy is ridiculous. An early check-in of 30 minutes to 1 hour is treated the same as an early check in of 7 or 8 hours, costing 6000 yen. The staff show no flexibility and are very rigid with this policy, regardless of whether or not the room is available and empty or not. This is not what we are used to in other hotels around the world. As for the hotel itself, once checked-in, the service is good, the amenities are good with a convenient store located within the hotel. The stay was very good, check-out is very smooth and simple, and there were no issues overall.

The ambiance is so good the the staff is kind place is clean its just like a royal hotel the resort is so clean

Unlike most other hotels, APA did not provide an adaptor or charger. Breakfast was one of the reasons I booked this hotel, but it wasn’t available as an option at the time of booking. When I asked to add breakfast on arrival, I was told it had sold out, which was disappointing. As far as I know, breakfast is served until 2 pm, so I was surprised they couldn’t add even one more for me.

Nice hotel, clean, near in train station.but the problem is noisy in outside the room even walk in the hallway is hearing inside the room.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my pre-authorization amounts, which have still not been released despite multiple follow-ups.During my stay, I was informed by the hotel that the amount paid through Trip.com was only a pre-authorization and could not be used for check-in. As a result, I had to make an additional payment directly at the front desk, effectively paying twice for the same booking.I was assured by your support team that the pre-authorized amount would be refunded after checkout. I have since checked out and have sent several emails requesting the release of these funds. However, I have not received any response, and the amount is still not reflected in my account. This delay is causing significant inconvenience, and I kindly urge you to investigate and resolve this matter as soon as possible. 1. Booking No. 1658110473963830 2.
