Kaike Grand Hotel Tensui

I booked with high expectations after seeing photos of the large open-air bath, but I was disappointed that they don't have a system to switch the men's and women's baths daily. ㅠ The dinner and breakfast were a bit lacking for my taste. Overall, the accommodation felt a bit dated, but it was clean and well-maintained. It had the atmosphere of being a fairly high-end accommodation in the past. ⸻ Shall I summarize it a bit more honestly / a bit more gently / or even at length for the blog?

It was a place where you could feel the history of the hotel facilities. The space was spacious, and there were various amenities. However, the facilities intended for guest convenience were somewhat inconvenient. Still, it wasn't a major issue. The open-air bath was nice, but since the banquet hall was on the floor below, the smell of food coming up from the kitchen was a bit off-putting. It is close to the sea, and the walking paths are well-maintained nearby.

There's no change machine in the arcade. The vending machines on each floor are out of order. I'd like to see these two things improved!!

The evening meal and the bar next to the pool were excellent. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The bath was great. It was a shame that it was raining and we couldn't see the sunset.

The food selection is limited and there aren't many choices, the service is terrible, and even directions within the hotel are inadequate. However, the location is good.

The room has the feel of a well-maintained, old-fashioned hotel and has been remodeled. You can experience a vibe that cannot be found in modern Korea. The fried steak, grilled fresh for dinner, is very delicious.

We booked a sea-view room, but we could only see half the sea. The weather was bad, so we missed the sunset 😌. The dinner buffet was good; the Wagyu beef tempura was nice, and the crab legs were all-you-can-eat 😃.

We booked one night's accommodation with two meals included. The room had a bathroom but no shower; you had to shower at the hot spring. The evening buffet with king crab was delicious, but the other food selection was limited. Breakfast consisted of one set meal, which was just average. The hot spring was nice.
