Yunshui Ballad Homestay (Grand Waterfall Store) Reviews

This is an unbeatable accomodation in Furong ancient town. Situated right on the waterfall next to the bridge, it’s such a beautifully central stay. It’s right next to the main bridge that overlooks the scenic area, and a 5min walk to the waterfall view points. The rooms are a gorgeous wooden design, complete with a modern bathroom, and amenities. The owner was kind enough to contact me and arrange free transport from the train station, and a discounted entry ticket into the town (90 RMB, payable upon hotel arrival). I had booked a large single room but was given a different one with two beds, odd but alright. Be aware the town is vibrant at night and music/karaoke only stops at 10:30pm.

The hotel is exactly as shown in the photos. A very special experience next to the river bridge with a very cozy balcony. The hotel is located inside furong town so a ticket needs to be purchased before entering

Lovely place right on the waters edge, can hear the music from the bridge of an evening when sat on the balcony. Free station pick up and only 20 yuan on the way back, entrance fee to scenic area is an additional 90yuan per person. We enjoyed our stay thank you

The hotel is actually a homestay and operates above a shop that offers traditional costumes for ladies photos sessions. It is located next to the Tuwang bridge and has a verandah that offers the direct view of the stream but not the waterfall but you need to book the room at the highest floor otherwise you will be obstructed by the bridge.

the service is perfect. there was a mistake about the room and the owner worked on it quickly. very accommodating. the location is perfect. The only flaw is the smell coming from the toilet from time to time. I am not sure if it is due to rain that it feels like it has not been used for a long time.

The room was great and very clean, located right by Tuxing Bridge. The only minor issue was the early check-out time. Furong Ancient Town is truly a place to unwind and just chill, enjoying a coffee and a chat. It's much better than Fenghuang Ancient Town.

Great location! The owner goes the extra mile by arranging pick-up from the train station and is always ready to assist with any problems or questions. Furong Ancient Town is quite small, making it incredibly convenient to get to the waterfall from the hotel. Plus, they can help you book discounted tickets.

Great location and Bai Ah Jie was very helpful with pickup and drop off and purchasing the scenic area ticket. The room was very spacious and clean and love the bridge view from the balcony.

Great location between bridge and waterfalls and also close to performance areas. Service was excellent. The lady picked us up and dropped us off from the train, organised our trip to the Red Stone Forest (well worth the trip) and helped with any of our queries along the way. The room was great, featuring a unique local charm, and it's perfect for photos, particularly in the evening. The owner was also very friendly and offered pick-up and drop-off services.

Beautiful, spotless room with a perfect view. The host made the stay exceptional quick to respond, picked us up from the train station, and arranged a taxi for our early departure. When we accidentally locked the keycard inside, they had us back in within minutes. Great central location, and the host even helped us secure tickets before we got there to get in the ancient town of Furong. Flawless service and experience. 10/10, highly recommended.

The hotel is right in the center and quite close to a scenic area where you have a great view of the waterfall. The staff were very supportive and helped us to get to the hotel from the train station and later helped us to get a taxi to go to the next city. The terrace of the rooms has a great view too but some of the rooms are separated from others.

We booked a room for 4 people. Room was perfect, also in a incredible location and views. People super nice also helped us on getting the ancient town tickets and offered a free transfer from the train station to the ancient town. Super recommended
