Wingate by Wyndham Williamsburg

Rude staff. Hotel well-abused; room smelled bad - like vomit covered up with deodorizer - meanwhile bathroom was in poor condition and no hot water at the sink. There is no closet (and you have to actually request a hangar - really?). The “breakfast” was barely edible, don’t even bother trying the coffee, which comes out of a hot chocolate machine. Hotel was very loud - jammed with obnoxious guests for a sports tournament, many carrying on in the lobby and hallways through the evening. All-around crappy experience.

This property was very disappointing. It smelled musty as soon as you walked in. The staff was far from friendly. No one greeted you when entering the facility. I disturbed the staff who was relaxing on the sofa, had her shoes off and was playing with her feet. When I asked her a question she said the information was in the key sleeve she had given us. Our room was not AS stinky as the entrance. There were stains on the carpet and very low water pressure that got Luke warm at best. I will steer clear of this entire hotel chain moving forward.

Water pressure in bathroom sink ******. Water flowed like a sprinkler. Had to use bathtub water to wash up and wash hands. Need to find another cleaning solution to make hotel smell fresh and clean instead of stuffy and moldy. Rooms need airing out before renting out. Spray with nice air freshener and turn on ac. Breakfast was poor. Need better selection. More fruit and muffins. Go to other hotels and check out their breakfast. Personal behind counter should never be on their o pop personal phone. Should always be alert and pay attention to guests. Get workers to go to English classes so they can understand what guests need.

The room itself was very clean. However the bathroom was not. Found hair on the ceiling, countertops, and in the shower upon arrival. There was also hair on a couple of the towels as well as if they were not switched out. The tubs paint was also peeling in our room. We were only there for the weekend though and the towels were switched out for us which was great. So we made the best of it that we could.

I stayed here for the fullest and probaly last time...staff helpful at all...my room was never made up..breakfeast was clean and good..but other than that never again so disappointed and on the day I was checking out the housekeepers were banging at my door at 930 I didn't have to.check out till 11

We stayed here in the past and it was good. This time was a different experience. Staff wasnt very friendly. And they allowed kids to run the halls at night. Was very disruptive.

We have stayed here several times. Older hotel that has been updated. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Friendly staff. Convenient location.

Breakfast was convenient and decent. Parking was great. The train passing wasn’t loud as my from was the closest to the tracks. The bathroom sink water was weak is my only complaint.
