The main purpose of my trip was to stay here, and the accommodation exceeded my expectations. The hygiene was excellent, and the private location was perfect for kids. The hot spring bath was incredibly clean, and the water was lovely. It was a stay that satisfied everyone, from adults to children.

The host was very responsive, and the accommodation was spacious and great. The outdoor hot tub, rain, and beer combination on a slightly rainy evening was fantastic! I think it would be great for those who are renting a car. Without a rental, getting from the main street to the accommodation was a bit challenging, but taxis come right away if you call them!

Terra Yufuin is great for families. The 6 beds available can accommodate at least 6 adults and a handful of kids. The onsite indoor onsen was well loved by my kids. We stayed in the "sauna" house and hardly used the sauna- it was great to go in and out of the sauna in the November weather. The owner/manager was responsive to our requests through the app. However, I found the amenities to be very precisely provided for laundry detergent pods and trash bags. I felt like we had to ration them even though we did not request for more. Only one pillow is provided per bed too. I would recommend this place especially if you are alright with bunk beds above your bed. My older folks bumped their heads every night so that will have to be a consideration. Other than that, the place is well kept and beautiful.
