Yufuin Onsen Bessou Furusato

The owners are a very kind and friendly couple. The hotel has five hot springs of varying sizes for guests to use. The rooms are very spacious, and breakfast and dinner are very plentiful. On our return morning, the owners noticed our luggage was heavy and even helped us drive to the station! So thoughtful!

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop or JR station. The owner was very friendly and provided guidance on how to use each onsen. Any questions were welcome. There were two other Japanese families staying that day, making us three groups. We all took turns enjoying the onsen, eliminating the need for competition and allowing for leisurely enjoyment. The water was very hot, and there were two large onsen rooms with ample space. Dinner was delicious, with the A5 Wagyu beef grilled in the grill. The mushroom dishes were surprisingly tasty. You don't get such a rich texture in Hong Kong; they're usually dry after grilling, but the mushrooms here were very juicy and springy. Beer and soda are available for a fee, and the prices are reasonable. The room is a two-story stand-alone building with a living room on the lower level and a tatami room on the upper level. There are two toilets, and the space is clean and spacious. Yukata, bath towels, and disposable towels are provided. It's very complete. The owner has a beautiful variety of flowers and plants, so please enjoy them. I highly recommend staying here. It's a great value.

The owners and their husbands were both incredibly kind, and I was very satisfied with the heartfelt dinner and breakfast. Most importantly, our departure time was early, and the bus to Fukuoka was leaving before breakfast time. They prepared breakfast for us on time, and since we were pressed for time, they even provided a car to pick us up at the terminal. It was wonderful to be able to end this trip feeling truly pampered as a guest.

It was great that it was within walking distance of Yufuin Station. It seemed like the couple running the place were very friendly, and with five ryokans, the hot springs were a great option. It was a nice walk to the convenience store at night, with so many beautiful stars. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was also served neatly, and it was delicious. It was a relaxing trip for two families, and my husband said the one-night stay in Yufuin was the most enjoyable part of his trip out of all the ones in Fukuoka.

The accommodations were on the second floor, making it more spacious than other ryokans, and the two bathrooms were a nice touch. The area was quiet, making it a great place to relax, and the train station was only a seven-minute walk away, so it was conveniently accessible without too many people or cars. I'd love to go back again next time I'm in Yufuin!

A trip with my mom and boyfriend. I was worried because there weren't many photos of the accommodation, but it was so good. It's a bit of a walk from Yufuin Station to the accommodation, but it's not too far and the road is pretty, so it's walkable. First of all, both the male and female owners are very kind, and the dinner and breakfast they provide are delicious. Yukatas are provided, and the hot springs are divided into 5 places, and almost all of the baths have an open-air bath and an indoor bath. When you enter the hot springs with your mom, you can lock it from the inside, so you can think of it as a private bath. It's perfect for those who want to spend a quiet and comfortable time. Our room was a two-story house, and the lower floor was the living room, the second floor was the bedroom, and the bathroom was on the first and second floors, so it was very comfortable and felt like a Japanese home. One inconvenient thing is that there is no convenience store nearby, so it's better to buy what you need before you go in. I want to go again.
