The environment of the homestay in the mountains is very good. There are not many rooms, about 10. There is a private hot spring in the room. There is also a public hot spring outside. Considering the problem of snoring, I specially booked two rooms. When I arrived, they said there was only one 😭 and I reported it to Ctrip. The response was still very fast. Because it rained heavily on the day we went, we did not stay in the other hotel arranged by Ctrip. We all stayed in one room for one night.

The hotel is located near Yufuin Station. It is best to take a taxi. The cheapest one is about 1,000 yen. You can also ask the hotel front desk to help you get a taxi when you leave. You can't get an Uber here, and there seems to be no other public transportation to get there.

It's the best. There's a private hot spring in the room, and it's quiet and great. The hot spring in the room is bigger than I thought, so I think it can accommodate 3~4 people. The garden is also beautifully decorated. It's hard to walk from the station, so you have to take a taxi back and forth. The building is old, but it's well maintained, so it's okay. When you enter the room, it smells a little musty.

The private hot spring bath in the room is great. However, the hotel does not provide pick-up and drop-off services to and from the station. Guests need to take a taxi themselves, which is a minor flaw.

It can accommodate up to 5 people and has a private open-air bath. I think it is also a great advantage to be able to take a hot spring bath at night while looking at the stars in the open sky.

I made a reservation in a hurry, but I'm satisfied. I really liked the individual open-air bath. It's a bit far from the station, but I went there with almost no luggage, so I went on foot and it was nice to see the countryside. As for the food... I tend to eat a lot of unbalanced meals ㅠㅜ

Hefengshan Japanese-style Hotel is very similar to a single-family log cabin. It isolates the noise of people living next door. It is very suitable for my family of 4 people to stay. It has not been provided since June last year (2022/Jun) For the pick-up service, it only costs ¥950 to take a taxi from the Oilcloth Yard Station to the hotel, and the journey takes less than 10 minutes.
