The environment is quiet and pleasant. The room was clean and hygienic. The semi-open private hot spring has beautiful views. It's a bit inconvenient without a car, but there's a shuttle bus to the station upon checkout. Overall, I'm satisfied.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is great, the service was warm and friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The highlight for me was definitely the onsen ♨️ The view of 由布岳 from the onsen was absolutely beautiful, and it was so relaxing to soak in the hot spring while enjoying the scenery. Dinner and breakfast were also good, and considering everything that was included, I thought the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing onsen stay with good food, a beautiful view, and great value for money. Would love to come back again! ❤️

From the moment of pickup, the staff were incredibly polite. This is a modern, Japanese-style ryokan, quite small. We had the dinner and breakfast plan, and the dinner was exquisite and delicious. The staff explained every dish throughout the two-hour meal. One night felt a bit too rushed, as we didn't get a chance to step outside the ryokan and experience the rural atmosphere.

We booked a room with a private entrance and a private onsen for one night. The hotel is quite a distance from the station, about a 25-minute walk uphill. The service was excellent; everything was explained and shown to us, and they spoke English. The onsen was also great, though it was very hot and needed diluting, which wasn't an issue. It had a view of the mountains. A minus for cleanliness, as the ventilation in the onsen was dirty. Also, you can't order breakfast on arrival if you didn't select it when you initially booked. Overall, we really enjoyed everything.
