Yufuin Tsukahara Villa Erina

The location of this accommodation is quite poor! They barely provided any service! They charged over HKD 1,300 for the room, and no meals were included, so the value for money was terrible! There were also no dining options nearby, which was incredibly inconvenient, especially with bad weather! In contrast, the next day we moved to Unzen Onsen Ryokan! For three people, they offered a lavish breakfast and dinner buffet! The hotel facilities were comprehensive, and there were several onsen baths to choose from! The price was only HKD 400 more, but the value for money was miles better! 😔 Consider this a lesson learned! Next time, I definitely won't be fooled by website photos!

This was a place I wanted to keep to myself. The open-air bath was especially nice, and it was nice that I could use both dinner and breakfast if I made a reservation.

A great place for one stay and two meals 😬 The hostess was very welcoming and the roast beef for dinner was very delicious. We didn’t understand Japanese but she was still very patient and used the translation tool to explain the different parts of the beef to ensure that the guests chose the desired parts. For example, Wagyu beef has fat and heel. Thin and so on. There is an outdoor and private open-air bath, which is very suitable for family guests. And there is a parking space right outside the door, which is very convenient. Highly recommended👍

The atmosphere of the accommodation is very good. The auntie who owns the accommodation is kind. The on-chain bath has a good atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Yufuin area.

Staying in a whole Japanese-style house is just like staying in a Japanese home. There is a whole kitchen and kitchen utensil system for you to cook in, and there is also a small indoor hot spring for soaking. Overall, it is really excellent. Next Will definitely go again! ! There is also an open-air hot spring outside to soak in, and the environment is very beautiful. Highly recommended! !
