City Walk Hostel

Stayed at City Walk Hostel in Zagreb. It’s right in the heart of the city, steps from the main square. Pros: Unbeatable central location, super affordable, and you can walk everywhere. Cons: Being so central means street noise at night, and facilities are pretty basic. Great for a quick, budget stay!

Room is very tidy and clean. Services was great Recommendation: - Add a hanging rack, since we don’t have space to put our clothes on, so we just put clothes on the bedside instead.

Our room was generally clean and good for two people in terms of space, though the reception was not staffed when we arrived.

Great location, easy to get to downtown by walk or subway . It is a quite hotel even it is a hostel .

The facilities are very good! Very comfortable and super quiet. It's self check-in so expect to find no one in receptionist when you check in. Nevertheless, it's very clean and only 1 other person living in my shared dorm, which made it even better. They provide padlock for your locker, fyi the locker is a bit narrow in width. I left my small bag behind and they kept it for me! I will definitely go back here :)

This was a girls' room, but there was actually a boy checking in. A very poor stay experience.

Location is great, very close to tram station and it’s just a couple stops away from city centre. Price is good. Downside is super small room, the shared bathroom is dirty, and the shower area was clogged. It’s doesn’t feel clean at all. Regarding checkin, the communication would have been made easier. The checkin time is 3pm, we arrived in Zagreb early, wanting to drop off our baggage at the hostel. I’ve tried calling their number on Google Maps and website, no one picked up. We arrived at the entrance of the hostel at 1:30pm, to find that no one is at the reception, which was surprising and there’s a note on the door saying to contact them via WhatsApp which they don’t respond straight away. I think if there’s no one working at front desk, I’d expect a speedier response on their chosen communication method. Also, there’s a water machine, but they disabled the cold water option, just the hot water tap was working, which I don’t know why
