In The Stream (Zamami Island)

We had a fantastic stay! The place was very clean and quiet, perfectly located in the center of Zamami Island. Surrounded by local food spots and a convenience store, everything we needed was within easy reach. It’s walking distance to Inazaki Observatory and Ama Beach, and only 5–10 minutes to the bus station for rides to Furuzamami. One of the best parts was the thoughtful hospitality — after check-out, we were allowed to use the free facilities to store our luggage, take a quick wash, and change after snorkeling before boarding the ferry back to the mainland. This made our trip so much more comfortable and stress-free. Overall, an excellent stay with great amenities and an unbeatable location!

We stayed two nights at this place on the Zamammi island. The hosts are nice and the place is neat. But there is a few things to keep in mind while booking it with trip.com. 1. The bed is single, not twin. 2. The hosts insisted that children cannot stay for free and asked for an extra 10,000 yen cash for two nights, which is contradictory to the child policy that states children of all ages can stay at no cost. After explaining to the two owners about the trip.com website description of their hotel, they finally agreed to drop the 10,000 charge. Despite the small confusion, we enjoyed our stay here.

We had a great stay, hosts were great, clean,comfortable,  The shared kitchen area had everything needed, would go back again definitely.

So peaceful, clean and ideal. Great layout and set up. Quiet location and handy to the shops and restaurants.

Cannot recommend this place enough!! In the middle of our stay a tsunami alert threw our plans out, and we were forced to stay an extra night and reschedule our ferries. The lovely couple were accommodating and assisted us with calling the ferry office to reschedule our ferries. They also helped translate all the emergency announcements so that we were informed of what was going on. Then the following morning when our ferry was cancelled again they helped drive us to the ferry office. As well as this, they were accommodating with flexible check-in and check-out times. Would highly recommend this place!!

We had a very comfortable stay at The Stream. We would definitely stay here again.
