We have had the most wonderful week in Zauchensee. The hotel is designed to make everything as easy as possible for a young family. We loved the pool, climbing wall, soft play, food, everything! The location is incredible and the staff are amazing, we will be back! Have also already recommended to other friends in the UK. Thank you.

With 2 young kids ( 2.5 and 5) we stayed 1 week at the hotel, mainly for skiing. All hotel facilities were excellent: great food, super nice kids swimming pools (with slides), very friendly staff. Reception very helpful and efficient! Kids club was also very good, kids loved it! The hotel is perfecly located just in from of the slopes/ ski lift. Huge advantage! The only uncomfortable thing was the heat in the room, even with the heating unit off. The rooms are also dusty/ muffy, and we had to keep the window open 24/7. We had an appartement with a sliding door, parents double bed in the room without window: sliding door separates living room ( where the kids slept) and the "parents bedroom". But unfortunately with sliding door closed it became hot, you couldn't sleep well and woke up with the headache in the morning. Such a shame! Regular ventilation of the rooms and less heat would help we suppose. Hotel works with Top Alpin skischool that was excellent! We really liked the way the teach, our daughter was " upgrade" to the next class and enjoyed 5 full days of skiing. The main disadvantage here is that the skischool does not do "supervised lunch" with the kids (like elsewhere in Austria). Kids club doesn't do this room. This means that the parents must return to the village each lunch, have it with kids, and only then continue skiing. This was we couldn't go far from Zauchensee area at all. There's another ski school in Zauchensee but they also don't do supervised lunch. We really think it would be terrific if kids club ladies could pick-up the kids for lunch and drop them back afterwards. Pick-up/ meeting point for the lessons is just in front of the hotel! So it's very simple. Many parents would be grateful! All in all, we had a nice stay and do recommend the hotel!

Wir waren mit der Familie im Walchhofer. Überall wird Michael W. Im Hotel "vermarktet". Doch leider sah man weder ihn, noch sonst eine Chefität während der Woche. Es gibt einiges zu verbessern, ist es doch ein 4-Sterne- Hotel. Die Bettwäsche war etwas 20 cm grösser als die Decke. Im Bad hat gerade mal 1 Person Platz. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist schlecht gewartet. Der Obstsalat wird in groben Brocken serviert, die in keinen Kindermund passen. Das Servierpersonal "übersieht" weitestgehend benutztes Geschirr, ohne es abzuräumen. Frühstückseier werden ohne Löffel und Salzstreuer serviert. Die Preise sind zwar 4-Sterne, nicht aber die Service- Qualität. Die Küche ist recht gut, doch auch die Präsentation des Salatbuffets gleicht eher einer Kantine.

sehr schönes Hotel für die ganze Familie. tolles und riesiges Skigebiet, vor allem für Fortgeschrittene, aber auch unsere 5 jährige Tochter hat hier Skifahren gelerntn tolle Kinderbetreuung auf 4 verschiedenen Ebenen und dadurch nicht so voll und laut wie anderswo. Special: eine Kletterwand über 2 Stockwerke! Schwimmbad war für uns eher Nebensache, da es so viel anderes gab. Essen war hervorragend, vor allem die tollen Fischgerichte!!! Getränkepresie sehr fair. Wir waren gerne nach dem Skifahren noch an der Bar, wenn die Kinder oben gespielt haben. haben gleich für Weihnachten vorreserviert. kleines Manko: wenn man nicht Ski fährt gibt es außerhalb des Hotels wenig Abwechslung für Spaziergänge etc.

Sehr schönes, trotz Altersschwächen, gepflegtes direkt an der Piste gelegenes Hotel. Großes Augenmerk auf Kinderbetreuung und über 4 Etagen gelegener Kinderbereich, ansprechender Wellnessbereich Zimmer zum Berg müssen ab 07:30 Uhr mit Geräuschkulisse vom herrichten der Bergstation rechnen.

Wir waren für ein paar Tage in den Weihnachtsferien mit 2 Kindern (6 und 9) und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Essen war sehr gut, auch das Kinderbuffet bietet für alle Geschmäcker etwas. Die Lage und Ausstattung des Hotels sind top! Es gibt ausreichend Möglichkeiten für die Kids, sich zu beschäftigen. Da kommt keine Langeweile auf!

Verbrachten unseren Urlaub mit zwei kleinen Kindern (2 und 4 Jahre) in diesem Hotel und waren rundum begeistert. Das Hotel ist ein Traum sowohl für Kinder als auch für Erwachsene. 4 Stockwerke mit Spielezimmern. Super Wellness und Badebereich. Die Zimmer groß und freundlich. Essen top. Anstelle vom Mittagessen kann man sich beim Frühstück selber ein Lunchpaket zubereiten (einfach eine tolle Idee). Mein Großer schwärmt jetzt noch immer davon und macht bei seinen Freunden und im Kindergarten Werbung fürs Hotel. Als Abschiedsgeschenk gab es ein Hörspiel mit tollen Geschichten (Xaver Wuschelkovsky macht Urlaub in Zauchensee). Die Kinder lieben es und träumen jetzt schon vom nächsten Besuch.
