The hotel room has a direct view of the Matterhorn. After arriving in Zermatt, you can contact the hotel to pick you up at the train station. Otherwise, it is difficult to find the hotel entrance. It is a small alley and then a cave. The room is large and comfortable. It would be nice if I could stay in the town for a few more days.

Very satisfied with all aspects, the service staff is enthusiastic. The room was given foreign wine, chocolate and apples. The only regret is the standing crane, which blocks the view and is noisy. But this is not the hotel's problem, it is said to be a construction school. I will stay here again if I have the chance.

Wow--everything perfect from arrival at the train station to departure! Swiss five-star hospitality is always great, but The Omnia, exceeded even those expectations. Highly recommend! Congrats to the outstanding team that made our holiday lovely.

This was our 2nd visit to the Omnia. This property is absolutely a 5 star experience. The rooms are well appointed and the views from their patios are breathtaking. The staff deserves particular mention as they are extremely attentive and responsive to our requests. We had dinner at the restaurant and the meal was amazing. The menu consists of vegetarian offerings that can be augmented with proteins of your choice. The presentation was creative and the food was wonderful. My wife had the 5 course 'Surprise' tasting, trusting the chef to dazzle her with each plate. She was not disappointed as each dish was flawless. We highly recommend to anyone looking for an elevated stay in Zermatt.

Simply the best. Christian and his team think of every detail, so the guests don't have to. From the world class cuisine and impeccable local wine selection, to the gorgeously minimalist-yet-luxurious rooms & spa amenities, to the friendly and welcoming service, I find myself longing for the next visit the moment I depart. This hotel is heaven on earth. You won't regret your stay.

Tripadvisor The OMNIA mountain lodge Zermatt The term boutique is not used sparingly in hotel marketing, however in Switzerland there are, not surprisingly, guidelines around the use of these descriptive terms “The Boutique & Design Hotels and Lodgings are a successful homage to the tasteful and exquisite” myswitzerland.com Personally, the OMNIA is the definition of boutique . From the delightful moment you are collected from the train station in their zermattobile (I made that term up) by Andre (or Philippe) to the astonishing minute you burst through the electronic doors to enter the hotel’s cavernous entrance. Follow this by a sincere personal greeting at the top of the elevator – no waiting in line to speak to the overwhelmed reception desk. I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but you’ll then be invited to sit down and relax, enjoy The View, a drink and some snacks – rather than being demanded to hand over your credit card. Further spoiler alert – you will then have a personalised guided tour; relax, it is only confusing the first few times and then you have the order of the important parts – boardroom bar library and terrace all accessible from the reception level, one level down to the treatment and gym space, one more level down to the pool and wellness space and another level down to the dining space. In a cute twist you don’t have a room number or a floor number – so much easier just to remember one letter of the alphabet, especially if you have been traveling for a while through a few different room numbers. I was fortunate to receive the lucky letter R (full disclosure I did not see inside any other rooms so there may be many lucky letters and some may even be luckier) and could literally dance around my suite, so I did. There was enough storage to put one item of clothing into each drawer or onto each hanger (I did not), non-slip soled slippers (Thank you), a couch, table and chairs, a desk and chair and a king sized bed; then outside on my terrace were two more chairs and a bench seat. That’s a lot of sitting for a solo traveler. Another magical touch was the sound of Swiss Classical music playing softly from the TV which made the room feel warm and welcoming. More spoilers – fresh fruit! Fresh muffin! And a couple of nips of brandy in case you need warming up at any stage. The gym is small but perfect for a tough workout. Everything looked brand new and untouched, and after three full days in Zermatt I know why…you’ll work it out. The treatments are well priced for Swiss hotel standards and include some unique offerings, definitely worth studying the menu. I was reduced to a state of total zen in the hands of Bibi. 5 star recommendation. The swimming pool was often empty during my stay and I swam myself into another trance going in and out through the open doors into the outside world of crispest mountain air. The pool also has spa jets for aching muscles – but the true muscle magic is through the frosted door into the sauna space

The Omnia is an amazing retreat, exceptionally maintained with an absolutely wonderful staff. Can't say enough good things about our stay and how well we were treated. In addition to the staff, the location, rooms, cleanliness, food and drinks were all outstanding.
