The bedding in the room was very clean, and the pillows were comfortable. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a nice touch. However, the soundproofing in the room was poor; I could clearly hear every conversation in the hallway. I paid an extra 20 yuan for breakfast, only to be given two small cups of instant noodles. I'd recommend sorting out your own breakfast in the future. There was a staff member on the first floor who introduced local attractions and routes – I'm not sure if they were hotel staff, but their service attitude was good. Unfortunately, it involved a shopping stop, which wasn't suitable for us.

This is a relatively new hotel with brand new self-service facilities. The first floor has a lounge area plus a washing and storage area, along with complimentary soy milk and coffee, both of which are excellent. What really stands out is the service – it's genuinely good. When I was doing laundry late at night, the hotel staff kindly helped me out and arranged for me to pick it up the next day, which was a real lifesaver. The room was very comfortable, and the location is also great, very close to the iconic gate. Breakfast is available at a restaurant not too far away and offers a decent variety. Overall, it's a good place with solid value for money.

Before my trip, I was a bit worried the hotel might be too far from the attractions, making it inconvenient to get around. But now, as a foodie, all I can say is I picked the perfect spot! The hotel is located in the most vibrant area of Wulingyuan, bustling with local life. From breakfast in the morning to late-night snacks, everything is conveniently available. There are local restaurants packed with locals, serving authentic 'Sanxiaguo' (a local specialty), and probably over 10 breakfast spots – it's incredibly easy to find good food. For those driving, there's free parking. The concierge called us in advance to ask if we were driving and reserved a spot for us. Our room was spotless and tidy. This self-service hotel comes with a dedicated concierge who gave us a map of the scenic area upon arrival and helped us plan our itinerary. They advised us on how to avoid peak times and long queues, so we got to enjoy the attractions with fewer crowds and unobstructed views of the beautiful scenery. After dinner, we could just cross the road for a stroll along the Suoxi River, and Xibu Old Street is within walking distance. It's a one-stop shop for eating, staying, and playing; the distance to the scenic area is absolutely not an issue. If you love good food, just book this place with your eyes closed!
