Zhangjiajie Shunjing Hotel (Wulingyuan Landmark Gate)

This hotel is super close to the Wulingyuan East Gate, just a few minutes' walk away. However, parking at the hotel is extremely tight and always full, so you'll need to park your car in the East Gate's underground parking lot.

Overall, a good hotel experience. First and foremost, the hotel is quite close to the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk to the main entrance. There are plenty of dining options nearby as well. Secondly, the hotel service is excellent; the front desk staff are warm, patient, and proactively help guests plan their travel itineraries. The hotel facilities are well-equipped, the bathroom is clean, tidy, and odor-free, and even comes with a toilet seat cover. The guest rooms are quiet during resting hours. Hot water comes quickly, the disposable face towels are convenient, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation. Full 5-star rating, keep up the good work!

The hotel's location is great, just a few minutes' walk to the East Gate of the scenic area. There are many restaurants nearby, making dining convenient, and the food is quite good. The staff are very friendly; when we mentioned we couldn't get the TV to work, someone came immediately to fix it for us and even patiently explained the scenic routes. Highly recommended.

Staying here is super convenient for visiting the Wulingyuan Scenic Area; it's not far from the 'Biaozhimen' (Emblem Gate), saving you the hassle of bus transfers. I was quite satisfied with the room. I stayed on the 5th floor, and there's a rooftop area where you can dry clothes. The natural light was good, and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was a wet/dry separation, which was great. Breakfast is outsourced, but it was decent with a good variety of options. Overall, I was pretty happy with my stay.

I booked this room based on good reviews, but the reality was disappointing. The hygiene was poor, the room felt old, and the comforter wasn't clean. The service was also bad; they were unwilling to give my child a bottle of water when asked. It's not soundproof at all, and the restaurant downstairs was very noisy. Plus, there was a constant bad smell coming into the room. I strongly do not recommend it. I have no idea how it got those good reviews.
