I absolutely have to give this guesthouse a five-star review! From check-in to check-out, the experience was fantastic. The owner and her brother had excellent service attitudes; they proactively offered a very detailed travel guide, saving us the hassle of doing our own research. The room was spotless. We didn't hesitate to extend our stay for another night. Since our original room was booked, the owner, true to her word, upgraded us to a different room. The biggest surprise in the new room was the facilities: watching movies on the projector screen was amazing, it had a smart electric toilet, and the bathtub even thoughtfully came with a disposable tub liner, so we could enjoy a worry-free bath to relieve travel fatigue. Details truly show quality, and a guesthouse that provides tub liners is definitely reliable when it comes to hygiene. I highly recommend it to anyone who values cleanliness and a great experience!

The room was clean and the location was good, only a few hundred meters from the East Gate. The owner was very thoughtful, providing maps and travel tips every day. The recommended restaurants were also decent.

Tucked perfectly near the east entrance (less than 10 minutes walk) to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, this hotel offers an unparalleled and genuine, heartfelt hospitality that made our trip truly memorable. The true highlight is the service provided by the owners, a wonderful brother and sister duo. Their dedication to guest comfort goes far beyond the professional; it is deeply personal. The brother is an absolute gem, always ready with a warm smile and invaluable, local advice on planning the best hiking routes to avoid crowds. He went out of his way to drive us to the Charming Xiangxi Show and another show at the Zhangjiajie Romance Park. Both the brother and sister also spent time helping us plan the best routes to take for the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park as well as assisting in getting discounted tickets. Their combined effort made us feel less like guests and more like welcomed family members. The rooms themselves are beautifully designed—clean, cozy, and featuring comfortable beds that were a welcome relief for tired muscles. The traditional aesthetic complements the environment, and modern amenities ensure a relaxing stay. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful, and perfectly located base for exploring Wulingyuan, look no further. The hotel offers five-star service and is good value for money. Highly, highly recommended!

I don’t know where to begin! This hotel was so warm, homely and amazing. It had great amenities, was relatively near the gate. But what made this stay remarkable was the hospitality from the staff here. As a solo female traveller, they were always reachable via WeChat, which made me feel super safe. They planned out the routes in ZJJ national park and recommended the best, least touristy spots. Many restaurants and massage spots around too! Location was perfect. Wishing them all the best and would highly highly highly recommend them if you’re looking for a personalised touch to your stay :-) Free laundry is included too which was amazing!!!

We decided to stay in Wulingyuan to access the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The hotel staff were amazing. They helped us book our tickets to the park. Despite arriving late (11pm) to check in, we were taken through the best itinerary catered to our wants for the next day. The hotel is only 5-10 minute walk from the East Gate. The owner made everything super clear (and provided a map!!) and we had a brilliant day. We also could store our bags at the hotel on the second day as we finished exploring the park! Absolutely recommend staying here- the service was unbeatable.

This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! It's super clean, and the service is excellent. The owner even enthusiastically gave me a detailed and patient explanation of how to explore the Wulingyuan scenic area. They were incredibly thoughtful and patient.

This is genuinely the best homestay experience I've ever had while traveling, no exaggeration. As soon as we arrived, the host immediately helped us with our luggage. Worried we weren't familiar with the local routes, he even took out a map and a pen to help us plan our itinerary. Mid-explanation, my wife realized she left her phone on the city sightseeing bus. Without hesitation, he helped us contact the bus company, grabbed his car keys, and drove me to retrieve it. He truly showed us the incredible hospitality of Zhangjiajie people. After we got back, he escorted us to our room. The location is perfect, only a 5-minute walk from the scenic area entrance. The accommodation itself is clean, hygienic, and tidy – you can really feel at ease staying here. The blankets were incredibly comfortable too. The next day, after touring the park, the host's wife helped us arrange a car back to West Station, and the host even brought our luggage to the car for us in advance, and gave us bottled water. Their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Thanks to their help, this trip was absolutely fantastic. As the saying goes, 'Chinese people don't deceive Chinese people' – if you're looking for accommodation near the National Forest Park, this is definitely the place to choose!!!

This was my child's first fall break, and we stayed at a lovely guesthouse with a very clean room. The service was warm and thoughtful, making us feel right at home. Why do I say that? Because even before we checked in, the guesthouse owner had already provided excellent service. Thank you, it felt very heartwarming. The owner patiently answered all the questions and concerns we had before our arrival, such as breakfast options, nearby restaurants, local temperatures, appropriate clothing, travel times and route planning, tickets, and important注意事项 (things to pay attention to). At the agreed-upon time, they checked on our arrival schedule, which truly made us feel like family waiting for us. We arrived at the guesthouse at 10 PM, and the owner personally took us to a nearby restaurant to find food. After dinner, it was quite late, but the owner then personally and thoroughly explained a non-repeating route for the attractions, covering every detail. It truly felt like a home away from home! Sometimes even family members might not explain things so patiently. The service was truly top-notch! If there's a next time, I will definitely come back and stay here again.

Clean and hygienic, the facilities are new, and the location is good, quite close to Dongmen. The landlord is very nice.

The B&B is right by the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a few minutes' walk away, which is incredibly convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The landlady was exceptionally welcoming; she contacted us in advance and gave us detailed information about tickets, prices, and park entry times. She even planned a two-day itinerary for us based on our schedule and helped us book tickets in advance. When we arrived at the hotel, she provided us with a map, and following their route made our trip incredibly smooth. We got to take in all the beautiful scenery. Many thanks! The room also had mulberry tea, a local specialty – definitely give it a try!

Service: Extremely warm and thoughtful. They added me on WeChat a few days beforehand to help plan my trip, and provided comprehensive solutions to almost all my travel questions. Facilities: The bathroom, bedding, furniture (tables and chairs), consumables, and laundry room all showed great attention to detail, making for a comfortable stay. The standard room was also a good size.

When traveling with kids, I always disinfect the hotel room upon arrival (alcohol wipes, sprays, essential oils, incense, etc.). This place was incredibly clean; after wiping everything down with alcohol pads, there wasn't a single spot of dirt. We'd been staying at a five-star hotel in Yongding District, and our laundry hadn't dried for two days. Here, it finally dried! The self-service laundry and drying room on the fifth floor is a lifesaver for families. The electric drying rack was surprisingly fun and useful; we washed the kids' clothes at night, folded them on the rack, and they were dry by morning. That's a tip I'll definitely be using again! The owner is a refined tea connoisseur, and his wife is elegant; they exude happiness and really know how to live well.
