JI Hotel (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Wulingyuan Biaozhimen)

JI Hotel is located within 5 mins walk of the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park, which makes it an ideal hotel when travelling with elderly parents. We booked the Deluxe Parent Child room, which was much bigger than I expected and well-suited for a 4 nights stay for 3 adults. We love the minimalist design as well as the smart features of the room, which includes the automatic flush toilet. What makes this hotel special is that it offers free door-to-door laundry service!! There is a laundry basket in each room which you can put in your dirty laundry. Then place the basket outside the room and it will be collected at 10am everyday and returned to the room by evening. During our last night, upon our request, the hotel also collected our laundry at 11pm and returned it to us at 7am. This is such an awesome service! And that made my father and sister very happy during the stay. Perhaps if I were to be picky, I would suggest for the hotel to improve the breakfast hot noodles section and the coffee! The coffee provided was really bad. But the sweet potatoes, mugwort and pumpkin desserts were awesome. I felt that the receptionists could be more friendly too, but I understand that they have a lot to handle. Special thanks to 海霞 for customising our itinerary after hearing my concerns about the weather, and we managed to catch the best views in both Zhangjiajie National Park and Tianmenshan. She was not pushy with the ticket sales, and I voluntarily cancelled my tickets and bought from the hotel because I felt that it was the best value for my customised itinerary. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to my friends in a heartbeat!
