Washu Loft Courtyard (Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station Branch)

Traveling with kids to Tianmen Mountain was made super convenient as the cable car station is right across the street from here. Couldn't ask for a better location!

The location is fantastic, super close to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, just across the road. There are many guesthouses on this street, but I think this one is the 'prettiest kid on the block.' The room was clean and tidy, and you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into the small details of the decor. A pleasant surprise was the large laundry room, which was incredibly convenient. The owner was very hospitable and helped solve many of our problems. I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again for future trips.

This guesthouse just opened recently, and its location is unbeatable – just a few minutes' walk to the cable car station. You can tell a lot of thought went into the decor and furnishings; it's clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is great too. Staying at Vashu Guesthouse really helped alleviate the fatigue from hiking. The guys there were all so helpful, lugging our bags for us. They even promptly let us know when we'd forgotten our tablet, so we could come back for it – a big thank you to them! With the summer peak season coming up, I'd recommend booking in advance if you're planning a trip. You won't find a guesthouse this good at this price anywhere else nearby. I genuinely recommend it!

The room was great, right across from the Tianmen Mountain Cableway, and the owner was very friendly and accommodating, which I really appreciated. However, the young staff member next door seemed arrogant. He said he would bring the key card for the electricity but never did. I ran into him in the courtyard, and he said he'd bring it right away, but it still didn't arrive. For a six-person room, we only got one card, so I deducted a star for the service. Breakfast was average, pretty much what you'd expect from any B&B. The shower in the bathroom overflowed to the toilet area, which was a bit uncomfortable, and we weren't given enough toilet paper – we ran out in the morning and couldn't find any spares! Running a B&B isn't easy, and I hope the owner can better train their staff. Wishing them a prosperous business.
