Perfect location for east gate of Zhangjiajie national park. The host is so kind and very helpful for making you the perfect itinerary.

We had a really amazing time in the hotel . The owner was so friendly and helped us to plan our trip. She organized everything and was so friendly. The room was clean.

This stay exceeded all expectations! The guesthouse is a short walk from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which made getting to and from the scenic area incredibly convenient. Downstairs, there's a great variety of breakfast spots, so all our meals were easily taken care of. The room was spotless, and all the toiletries and daily essentials were well-stocked, making for a very comfortable stay. The hostess was exceptionally kind and lovely. As soon as we checked in, she patiently helped us plan our daily itineraries and gave us detailed tips on how to avoid common tourist traps and overspending in the park. My glasses broke during our trip, which was a huge inconvenience, but without a second thought, the hostess rode me on her scooter to a glasses shop for repairs. I was deeply touched. Her warm and thoughtful service truly enhanced our trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

The inn is about an 8-minute walk from the landmark gate, which made it super convenient to explore routes A and B from the East Gate the next morning! The room size was okay, and you could tell the place has been around for a while. Everything else was acceptable except for the cleanliness. I was in a hurry to go sightseeing, so I didn't bother changing hotels. Cleanliness: Pretty average. There was a layer of dust on the headboard, and the duvet and pillows had stains.

This hotel is in 2 separate buildings so there are 2 landladies, sisters, who are both very welcoming, nice and helpful. There is no elevator, but they bring my luggages to the 4th floor, and when I left they also took them from the 4th floor. There are plenty of bottled water downstairs, you can take water anytime. They change towels and take trash everyday. They help you organize your staying, the order or the programs, they help you buy cheaper tickets for almost any programs in the city before you arrive to the hotel. When I got ill, one of them took me to the hospital by an electric mini motorbike, stayed with me in the hospital and helped me with the doctor. They asked me on Wechat everyday if I feel better. I couldn't go for some programs because of my illness, so they helped me get back a refund for the programs. They don't speak English but they have translator program on their phone so you can discuss anything with them. One of them has a son, he speaks a little English. On the first day when I was hungry and don't know the place, one of them took me to a restaurant by her electric mini motorbike. Even on my last day after checking out they still helped me a lot. So next time I am in Zhangjiajie, I will stay at their hotel again. I highly recommend them!!

The hotel was great! The environment was lovely, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite rich; they even gave us an extra portion, even though it usually only comes with two.

I love this hotel! Location is perfect, near everything, the lady in the reception was lovely and help me to book tickets for the national park, and I had an upgrade in the room without any charge. I really recommend it.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Where do I even start? The location is unbeatable—so close to the main gate of the Avatar Mountains. Our room was incredibly comfortable and came with a great view, with every amenity we could possibly need. But the absolute cherry on top was the marvelous owner. She helped us customize an itinerary based on the exact amount of time we had. She was also incredibly thoughtful regarding my mom’s age (64yo), planning a route so she could fully enjoy the breathtaking views without having to walk too much (which was a lifesaver since the park is massive!). We followed it to the letter and we had the best experience! Don’t think It twice! You won’t regret booking this place! Thank you so much; without your help, we wouldn't have enjoyed the park nearly as much as we did. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Gracias ☺️

Great Hotel. Perfect location to reach the Zhangjiajie east gate by foot and the other attractions by bus. The host was super friendly and planned every route for each day individually with me and even got tickets for me cheaper than they would be at the ticket counter!

It was fine. Location is good. The place was quite old. Staffs are nice, hard to communicate but with translator you’ll be good.

Amazing stay! We picked this place due to fantastic reviews about the owner being helpful for forest park trip planning and she exceeded expectations. She was able to book our tickets (with a local discount), planned our route every day taking into account the weather, and re-routed us via WeChat when heavy rain meant a path was closed. Incredibly helpful and friendly! Also able to leave our bags there on the last day to fully explore.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel with no complaints at all! The location was right by the East Gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which made it super convenient to walk over. It was also near the bus station, which can take you straight to the west railway station. The room itself was super big, spacious, and clean. Above all, the best part of this stay is definitely the hosts. The inn is run by two sisters who were genuinely the sweetest host I’ve met. They offered discounts to the park, provided recommended route for each day, offered self-grown/picked tea at night, provided food recommendations + discounts at nearby restaurants and were overall super friendly to talk to. If I ever had any questions, I would message them on WeChat and they were super quick and extremely helpful! I highly recommend this stay to anyone travelling to Zhangjiajie/Wulingyuan!
