This is an older 5-star hotel, and you can definitely imagine its past glory. There were tour groups, but they all finished eating and left early. Going for breakfast after 8:30 AM was still very quiet. The only downside was that breakfast was cleared away too quickly; they started clearing at 9:55 AM, and almost everything was gone within 5 minutes.

Great staying in Sunshine hotel. When we arrived, it was raining, their staffs made our staying indeed “sunshine”. Alex and Fanny were really kind and willing to introduce Zhangjiajie. We even followed Alex’s suggestion went to Furong village and Fox show. Breakfast selection is huge, all staffs are kind, especially Wang Jie, she helped us to write down our wishes for the year of the Horse as well :)

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. I especially want to commend Ms. Qu Xianlin, a server in the restaurant, for her exceptionally thoughtful and enthusiastic service. She personally brought us coffee and fruit, which I found very touching. Thank you, staff of Sunshine Hotel! The bedding was comfortable, and the room was spacious and very clean. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! We booked eight rooms and a mahjong room. The mahjong room is actually a suite, it's huge, and the mahjong tiles are big. The hotel even adjusts the mahjong machine program based on the type of mahjong you want to play and assigns the corresponding room. The regular rooms are also exceptionally spacious and very new. It's also very close to Tianmen Mountain, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich. Highly recommend!

I literally cannot express how amazing my stay was! From the moment I checked in, to the moment I checked out. Clean rooms, excellent view, absolute brilliant location. I was supposed to stay for two nights, however I extended my stay to 4 nights total! That’s how amazing this hotel is! 100/10 ✨ Special thanks to the amazing front desk staff TON! And everyone honestly were so welcoming and supportive! They make everything easy and smooth! Nothing was complicated at all! Although I had concerns regarding the language barrier, but they can speak very well English! Tony and his colleagues are AMAZING! How the staff treat you is what matters the most to me personally. I recommend everyone to try this hotel!

I had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Hotel & Resort Zhangjiajie during my trip. The hotel is definitely worth staying at — the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the overall environment made the trip even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever needed. I would especially like to give special thanks to Manager Alex for his outstanding support and hospitality. He was extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about guests’ experiences. His kindness and dedication made me feel very well taken care of throughout the stay. I was also deeply impressed by the support from the front desk team. On the day of departure, it was very difficult to find a large taxi because we had oversized luggage. Seeing our situation, the hotel staff kindly arranged a private car to take us to the high-speed railway station. This thoughtful and exceptional support truly went beyond expectations and made our journey much smoother and stress-free. Thanks to the amazing service and comfortable accommodation, I had a smooth and memorable experience in Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
