I’ve travelled to more than 50 countries, and I can easily say that this hotel is one of the best places I could ever have imagined staying at. It’s incredibly cozy and feels more like a home than a hotel, with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts are absolutely amazing — they speak great English and are always ready to help with anything you may need while exploring the region. The rooms are genuinely boutique-style and really live up to the hotel’s name: stylish, modern, thoughtfully designed, and much more spacious than you might expect. The location is perfect — just a 4-minute walk from the entrance to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, surrounded by restaurants, massage places, and familiar options like KFC and Starbucks. And last but definitely not least — the pets! There’s an incredibly playful and charming golden retriever, as well as two wonderful, friendly parrots flying around the common areas. They make the whole place feel even more special and alive. If you’re looking for a memorable and genuinely personal experience in Zhangjiajie, forget the other inns — and especially the big hotel chains. Stay here. You won’t regret it.

It’s located on a cute little street. Rooms are cozy and sweet (not too fancy but nice). It is as shown on the picture. Walking distance to national park gate.

Great accommodation on a 5 minute walking distance from the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was also helping with everything we need and advised us about places to visit. The staff also spoke English, which was very pleasant, since all our previous hotels in China did not have English speaking staff. Would recommend this room and accommodation definitely!

Love the minimalist look of the room and the resident dog 小七！ location wise is very convenient and near to the east entrance of ZJJ national park which make it a good spot. Both boss and lady boss are extremely helpful esp lady boss who helped us book all our attraction tickets in advance prior to our arrival. The only negative feedback is the room we had was next to whereby the cleaning supplies are so it was a bit noisy in the morning when the cleaning ladies are at work. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at the Pure Site very much.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The entire family gave us a warm welcome and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about visiting the national park – which, conveniently, is just a 4-minute walk away. Our room was clean and well-kept.
