An excellent home stay type hotel. Great rooms, great hosts- we loved the dog! Only improvement I would suggest is having some coffee and or team on the rooms.

Booked this for my mom. She said the staff were all very friendly. It's super convenient because it's so close to the attractions. The location is also great for getting a taxi. Zhangjiajie is absolutely beautiful; my mom explored it for three whole days!

Phenomenal place if you’re looking to visit the national park at its best. The host is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to help you plan your itinerary—honestly like no one else. Thanks to their advice, we made the most of our time and avoided the crowds. I highly recommend staying here. It truly made our trip smooth, memorable, and just perfect!

The room was very spacious, cozy, and comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were excellent. The owners were incredibly warm and generous, explaining in detail the routes to the National Forest Park and Grand Canyon scenic areas, along with important tips. They also offer a 'pay-after-use' service for shoe covers. The guesthouse provides free self-service washing machines and paid dryers, as well as a covered rooftop area for drying clothes. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Wulingyuan Park, with many restaurants nearby. It's fantastic!

We had a very lovely stay here. The room was very clean and spacious and the owners were very friendly and also very helpful. They helped us pick out a route in the national park that fitted with what we wanted to do and also helped us get discounted tickets. The biggest bonus is the owner’s dog that is in the lobby most of the time. A big fluffy golden retriever that is the size of a little bear. Would highly recommend!!

We loved the family room. It was perfect for our very active 2 year old. We also loved the dog and the host was super helpful.

The location is excellent, especially if you’re coming from East Gate Line A to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, as it’s just a short walk to the East Gate. There are also plenty of food options nearby, which makes it very convenient. One of the highlights for me was the hotel’s adorable pets! The cute dog and birds really added a warm and welcoming touch to the stay. I also appreciated the free laundry area on the top floor, which was very useful for washing and drying clothes. The room itself was fairly clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience pleasant. However, the main downside was the presence of shield bugs in our room. We found around seven in a single day, which made us quite uneasy and constantly wondering if there were more hidden around. Unfortunately, this did affect our comfort and slightly dampened the stay. I wonder if is just that particular room because a small window hidden behind curtains was already open when we checked in, thus leading the bugs to our room. We do realise the issue lessen in day 2 once we shut the window , we only found a single bug next day. It would be great if hotel would check and ensure the window is locked permanently in future. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the location and service, but the bug issue was a notable drawback.

They also teach us how to avoid all the peak hours, which is amazing. They’re really easy to get along with. AND!!! there’s a cutie golden retriever and two little parrots❤️❤️❤️

Really thankful that we booked this hotel! Really happy and grateful for their warm hospitality and good service while me and my husband stay in this hotel. The hotel was really good, cozy, homey, and we really love the bed and the warmer 😂. They also helped us in booking all of the tickets that we need with a good prize, too! we really have an enjoyable trip in some Zhangjiajie's place because of them They also booked a good seat for the Lady Fox Show in Tianmen. 很棒👍🏻👍🏻 hopefully we will be back soon to Zhangjiajie, and definitely will stay at here again!

The stay was fantastic! The owners were super friendly and welcoming. The inn's location is also convenient, with food options right outside and the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly easy to get around. There's even a laundry area for washing and drying clothes. Although I didn't get a photo of the room, both the room and bathroom were clean and tidy, exceeding five stars! 🌟

5/5 for this homestay! Located just next the East gate. the familial room was lovely and the owner very kind and helpfull. She spoke english and helped us to best organize our 3 days in the Park. Highly recommended :)

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Pure Site in Zhangjiajie! ♥️ Firstly, the location was amazing with a 5-minute walk to one of the entrances to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The place was surrounded by restaurants and food stalls serving delicious food, had relaxing massage places, and there were grocery shops to buy essentials. Secondly, the host and hostess were incredible in the support provided. They were happy to help us plan out our itinerary and book tickets to attractions or performances at a discounted price, and were very knowledgeable about the area and were to find good food! All their recommendations hit the mark. When we woke up late one day and had no time for breakfast the hosts even kindly offered fresh-brewed coffee and freshly baked bread with jam! We were so touched! Thirdly, the room was clean, spacious and with amenities like toothbrushes and bottled water. The heater in the room was also really great because I’m scared of the cold. The place also provides a laundry area where you can wash and air dry your clothes (there’s also a paid dryer service available). The bed was comfy and they provided ample pillows. Finally, the place had pets that really made our already amazing experience even more memorable! Xiao Qi the golden retriever was always at the door to greet us with his happy wagging tail, and he doesn’t bite and plays with all the guests well. They also have two birds, Dou Dou and Duo Duo, who are highly intelligent and perform tricks! The place is clean and smells good even with pets, and it makes it really homey. It was a great stay and if I return to Zhangjiajie, you bet I’m coming back to stay! With love, Travellers from Singapore 💕

The hotel is within walking distance to the national park entrance. The hotel owner is very helpful & assisted us to book the entrance tickets. Our room is very spacious & comfortable.

Owner was very kind and helpful and planned out our route for the mountains and recommended us where to eat and upgraded our room for free. Definitely recommend!
