Location is perfect in the middle of alot of sites seeing. We booked river view room its was very nic. the room are clean and big .breakfast is nice .the reception staff are very polite and helpful they helped us to do early check-in and late check-out and also booking tickets to hunglong cave (must see).zhangjiajie national forest Park West gate just cross the river .alot of shopes restaurants. For Muslims there are only one restaurant in the area

The room itself was decent, and the hotel did help us book tours, which was a plus. However, guests in the same room received conflicting information about the itinerary, which caused some confusion. I hope the hotel can improve its communication to be more consistent and accurate. Furthermore, the hotel doesn't offer a train station shuttle service. We've stayed at cheaper hotels that provided both pick-up and drop-off, so this was a bit disappointing in comparison. Also, the laundry room isn't open 24 hours, which was inconvenient. Overall, the stay was alright, but there's room for improvement in their services.

Both the general area and the hotel itself exceeded our expectations. It's very close to the East Gate of the Forest Park, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. There's also a small river in front of the hotel where you can play in the water. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a laundry room, which is great for extended stays. The breakfast was quite good and varied, though it would be even better if it changed slightly every day. The service was the most commendable aspect – they were incredibly accommodating, providing us with a free breakfast voucher for our child, welcome fruit, and even ice packs. Highly recommend!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The service was excellent, with a personal butler who customized travel itineraries and even drew maps, explaining routes and providing free maps. The customer service was also great. As for the accommodation, among all the cities I've traveled to, this is one of the better hotels I've stayed in. It's quite spacious, and the transportation is very convenient.

The hotel's location is very convenient for accessing Dongmen. The view from the scenic room was stunning. The service was enthusiastic; they even helped guests plan their sightseeing routes. The breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options. The hygiene and facilities were also excellent.

Everything was great, the room, the location (incredibly convenient to go to the park), it is much more interesting as a tourist than the city of Zhangjiajie itself. The staff were all very nice, great breakfast. Would recommand to anyone !

Our room was amazing, we can't fault the facilities. From the welcome basket of fruit and biscuits to the projector to watch tv on, it was beautiful. It is ideally located for the National Forest and the staff were so helpful on WeChat when we got lost! It was all part of the service which was brilliant. Staff were all friendly and couldn't do more for us. I would highly recommend the location. You will need a Didi if you want to see Tianmen Mountain but they are usually with you within 2 minutes! The breakfast was the only thing we were not keen on as there wasn't much selection for Western travellers but you are not far from food as there is a small convenience store next door.

We enjoyed our stay at Lanting. The hotel was regularly checking in and communicating with us. They also helped us book all the attractions at a slightly discounted price. Personnel was friendly and helpful. We even received a free room upgrade. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, the gym was missing the multifunctional machine. Also please note that the check-out is at 12:00, but the staff was nice enough to let us use the shower facilities even after.

My stay at Lanting Yajun in Zhangjiajie exceeded my expectations this time around. I booked a river view room, and the first thing I noticed upon opening the door was how incredibly open and airy the room felt. The 270° floor-to-ceiling windows brought both the mountain and river views right into the room. During the day, I loved sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, gazing at the distant green mountains and the riverbank below – it really helped me slow down. In the evening, soaking in the bathtub while admiring the night view was incredibly relaxing and truly gave me that vacation vibe. The room was quite spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was soft and comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. The tatami mat and hanging chair by the window were my favorite spots; I could easily spend an entire afternoon there without getting bored, perfect for daydreaming, reading, or chatting. The hotel's location is also very convenient. It's close to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park entrance, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The staff were very welcoming; they contacted me in advance to confirm my check-in and patiently explained routes to local attractions. The overall experience was very comfortable – there wasn't an overtly 'forced' service feel, but they were always quick to respond whenever I needed anything. If you're looking for a hotel in Zhangjiajie with great views, comfortable accommodations, and good value for money, Lanting Yajun is highly recommended. I'll definitely be back if I have the chance.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They proactively contacted us before check-in to customize our travel itinerary and even helped us get discounted tickets for attractions, which saved us a lot of hassle. The hotel offers a free self-service laundry room with a dryer, which was a lifesaver for long-term travelers needing to wash clothes. Breakfast had a great variety, and the rice noodle soup broth changed daily. The soundproofing in the rooms was excellent; even with the lively atmosphere downstairs, our rest wasn't disturbed. This hotel is perfect for both couples and families. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

Booked as a better deal than the previous hotel, and was very pleased with everything. Is very well located to watch the water and light show as well as the street market in the evening. Near decent restaurants and better to check the city centre. The staff is efficient in communication and help with the ticketing for the cave and canyon. Excellent.

The food was lovely. Location is perfect and all the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We were upgraded to a room with an amazing view with no additional cost. I would highly recommend this hotel- one of the best hotels we’ve been to. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and making our experience in Zhangjajie -the best. The photos are view from our room.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a 10-minute walk to the park's entrance. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a lovely river view through its floor-to-ceiling windows. They provided an impressive array of amenities; it's the first time I've stayed at a hotel that offered facial cleanser and makeup remover! Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion were all included, not to mention toothbrushes and toothpaste. Face towels, hand towels, bath towels, floor mats, bathrobes, and both dry and wet slippers were all readily available. Breakfast was included and featured a buffet with both Chinese and Western options. There were four different stir-fried dishes daily, and fresh noodles and rice vermicelli were made to order with different soup bases each day. Before arrival, the hotel proactively contacted me to help plan my itinerary for free and even booked national park tickets, which saved me dozens of yuan compared to booking online via apps! The itinerary they planned was very well-thought-out. Upon checking in, they provided all the park maps with routes clearly marked. [Thumbs up emoji] Thanks to the front desk's detailed explanation, I later realized that following their suggested routes meant I didn't waste any time or take any unnecessary detours! In the evening, the lights along the river were beautiful, and many people were enjoying themselves, creating a lively atmosphere. Despite this, the room's soundproofing was excellent! Once the windows were closed, I had a great night's sleep!
