Hotels in Tianmenshan Cableway/Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, Zhangjiajie

Enjoyed our stay there. All the amenities were top notch. Location was close to the Tianmen mountain cableway. The restaurant beside the hotel served delicious authentic Xiangxi cuisine. Checked in on 3rd March, the reception was welcoming and extremely helpful, she recommended us places to visit and delicious places to eat around the area.

Pick-up/drop-off service at train station provided upon request. Friendly and helpful front desk. Quick check in/out. Clean room with standard amenities. Breakfast is simple with some variety but is 7-9am only. Self service laundry available. Eateries and grocery across the road. 20mins walk to Tianmen cable car station. Air-cond setting is a little weird, not able to go below 22C. Overall, stayed with satisfaction.

The staff was very warm and welcoming. They helped me book a ticket for the Fairy Fox show with transportation. The male staff drove me to Zhangjiajie West station. Location is perfect, it’s on the same block as the Tianmen Cableway Station. The building with all the signs is where the hotel is on the 9th floor.

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with top-notch service and warm hospitality. A special mention goes to Dandan, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless experience. She was incredibly proactive, always offering assistance before we even had to ask. The whole team really took effort to communicate with us. They will treat not just like a friend but like a close relative who visited their hometown. That was literally how we felt when we were there. One of the highlights was the thoughtful amenities, including a massage chair just outside our room—an absolute treat after a long day of hiking. Dandan provided us with detailed guidance (with maps) on the best routes for exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain, ensuring we made the most of our trip. She even kept us updated on the weather and gave valuable advice on how to dress appropriately for the changing temperatures at higher elevations. The hotel also offers fantastic perks such as free airport pickup and drop-off, a complimentary ride to the train station and Tianmen Mountain Cableway, and an amazing breakfast featuring the best Hunan-style noodles we’ve had. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, thanks to the incredible service and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

This is an apartment building where different hotel operators take out different floors and we stay at the 10th floor facing the cable car base station (felt so safe staying here knowing where you should go for your journey to Tianmendong on the next day ). My room has a gorgeous view of the mountain ranges further away. It was such an awesome moment to watch an intense sunset with the sky turning from Orange to pink and yellow. Bedsheets and big towels were clean and comfortable On a separate note, I later realised those avatar peaks are all inside ZJJ national park some 1 hour away (separate zone). The famous Tianmendong near to this hotel turned out to be rather touristy and lesser iconic and I will choose to skip when I come back again

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Rooftop Hotel with Breathtaking Views! Staying at this rooftop hotel was an unforgettable experience! The stunning views of Tianman Mountain from my room were absolutely mesmerizing—waking up to such beauty in morning was a dream. Plus, watching planes take off and land at the nearby airport added a unique charm. The room was spacious, clean, and perfectly positioned to maximize the panoramic scenery. Whether sipping coffee at sunrise or relaxing at sunset, the vista never disappointed. The mattress was absolutely a bit hard for my liking, but overall, 99% loved the room. The combination of mountain serenity and airport energy made this stay truly special. I love the street food, and everything was written within walking distance. And unforgettable experience Wish I had more time to stay but I have to return to Canada, Unfortunatel.y😊 Highly recommend for anyone seeking a hotel with unbeatable views and a memorable experience!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, the experience was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their kindness and attentiveness truly stood out throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Our room was spacious, modern, and spotless, with thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious. The common areas were equally well-maintained, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain. We were able to easily access these incredible sites while enjoying a peaceful retreat to return to after our adventures. In summary, this hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area who wants a top-notch place to stay. Yang Mi was an exceptional host who truly went above and beyond for us. The rooms and decor exuded a rainforest vibe, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her hospitality was outstanding, and she made every effort to ensure we had the best experience possible. I especially appreciated the family-oriented nature of the inn—sitting down with them for tea and fruit, sharing stories late into the night, was unforgettable. I feel like I left a piece of my heart at Hetianwan Inn.

We had a nice and cosy 3-week stay in Zhang Jia Jie at Zero Pressure luxury dream apartment hotel. The studio room we had was very reasonably priced for the location and kitchen facility, cosy and a decent size for a long stay. Our host Ming Ying was extremely helpful by providing us with sufficient toiletries and water for 3 week stay. She was also very prompt in her responses and generous in offering us frequent cleaning even though we didn't expect it. She went the extra mile to help us in our time here given we are quite lost in terms of navigating the Chinese mobile apps to get around, withdraw money and even buy items online. The room is good for people who plan to dine out, though they have a basic setup of an induction cooker and wok and rice cooker. We loved the breakfast place downstairs on the same block and had some great eats in the nearby area. The room deco is bright and colourful, and while the curtains are nice and cheery bright colour, do note that if you are a light sleeper, best to bring an eye mask to block out the sunlight entering in in the morning. All in all, we are very pleased with our stay and the hospitality received by our helpful and hardworking host Ming Ying.

The location is convenient, close to the scenic spot, the price is moderate, the environment is clean, the surroundings are quiet and suitable for rest, it is suitable for visiting, the service is thoughtful, and I am quite satisfied
