Excellent hotel with outstanding service!
This is an excellent hotel! The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful and always eager to assist. We arrived around 7:30 am after a long journey, feeling very tired. As soon as we explained our situation, she immediately allowed us to check in early and even upgraded our room to a superior one since no standard rooms were available. She also kindly helped carry our luggage to the room.
She added me on WeChat and provided very useful information whenever I asked — including restaurant locations, attraction tickets, transportation options, and more.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is excellent — the night food street is right in front of the hotel, and the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park is only about a 5-minute walk away.
The only downside is that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator.
If I visit Wulingyuan again, I will definitely stay here. Highly recommended!

It was okay, the owner is very friendly (and I think he can speak English) and it's close to the station that takes you up the mountains. The room was a bit dirty and the sheets had holes in them, the biggest problem was the water which was never warm enough for showering. Overall it was not bad, you can definitely find worse!

The room was fine for what it was and the price. The location was a quick walk to the cableway, so great if you wanted to get there in the morning. I don’t think there was much else in the area. It wasn’t close to the train and I ended up missing one.
If you’re a smoker, this place will be fine, but I’m not and I asked for a non-smoking room and the room smelt so badly. I tried using the air conditioner but that just churned out more Smokey air. Nothing I did helped. I ended up making a blanket fort and slept under it for both nights and barely stayed in the room. It was like being in a gas chamber. I would not recommend this to anyone who isn’t a smoker themselves.
Staff was nice enough.

At this price point, I wasn't picky. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and the service was impeccable. The room was decent, but the noise from planes taking off and landing in this area was absolutely deafening. It seems to be the same throughout the entire area. The first night, the planes stopped taking off around midnight, and the second night, around 2 AM. I'm not entirely sure when the planes stopped taking off. It was quite disruptive for light sleepers, but the location was great, so I managed to fall asleep when I got tired. I think everyone staying in this area can probably hear this noise. Aside from that, everything else was fine.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit crude, the toilet ventilation is not very good, the bed in the room is a bit damp, and there is a bit of damp smell.
Service: The boss is very enthusiastic and the service is really good. If the B&B can be renovated, it will definitely attract more guests.
